Veena Sidhu
Senior Partner, CEO of Mindvalley Engage and Head of Mindvalley Channels and Mindvalley Publishing
Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and majoring in Genetics, Veena started as a medical journalist and quickly made Editor just before her 26th birthday for one of the first English medical aesthetic publications in Asia.
Within a year of joining Mindvalley and with no sales or marketing background, Veena kick-started the external sales department from almost nothing to a constant revenue stream and profitability
Three years on, and with a knack and need to dabble in everything (and according to Vishen – “turns everything she touches into gold”), Veena now runs three teams:
Mindvalley Engage, which manages external sales (primarily affiliate partnerships and media ventures) and organizes Mindvalley’s in-house events;
Mindvalley Channels – the company’s content creator including Mindvalley Insights, FinerMinds and Mindvalley, as well as Global Awesomeness Report, the feel-good community page;
And Mindvalley Publishing, a team in charge of signing new authors, managing their accounts, and creating content to be sold via our multiple consumption platforms.
Leading a team of 13, she has plans to double the business every year while setting new standards for customer support, client management, affiliate partnerships and of course – content.
With a never-give-up positive attitude and always striving for more, Veena believes nothing is impossible and along with sharing the Mindvalley mission, she spends her free time exploring passion projects, one of which is to see a wholistic education system developed in Malaysia.
