We’re reinventing work.
J-O-B is a dirty word. We believe work needs to be fun, educational and something that makes you so excited that you jump out of bed each morning. So screw the traditional 9-to-5 job. Instead, get paid to play, create, learn and grow. It’s like being a child again. But with a salary. Over the last few years we’ve won awards and accolades for creating one of the most unique and desirable work cultures in the world.
Make an impact on the world.
No matter what role you fit into, whether it’s Business Leader, Specialist or Customer Delight Manager, you’ll be playing a crucial part in transforming lives across the planet. Because at Mindvalley, all paths lead to one common goal: making the world a happier, wealthier, more enlightened and more loving place. Your challenge is to help us get there.

Reasons
to join mindvalley
1 freedom
We understand that brilliant people hate rules and shackles, and desire the freedom to do their work—in their way. Our office environment and work style is designed to cater to A players. Every day in the office is an adventure. In Sep 2011 a film crew captured a single day at Mindvalley HQ. Take a peek behind the scenes here

3 a world class company culture
A company culture fuels our growth. It’s our unique culture, more than anything else that makes Mindvalley what it is. We’ve also been on the WorldBlu List of Most Democratic Workplaces™ for 4 straight years. To learn more about our culture, check out the extended version of a TEDx Talk by Vishen Lakhiani and on how Mindvalley is aiming to create the World’s Greatest Workplace in the next few years. 4 unusual perks
Perks at Mindvalley go beyond what you’d expect. We’re talking profit sharing, annual dinners and parties, a designer office, monthly social events, mentorship, training programs, free tickets to Mindvalley events like Awesomeness Fest, access to a personal development library and more. Our biggest perk? According to current team members it’s our annual company retreat to a paradise island. Take a behind the scenes look at our last retreat here
5 grow like you’ve never grown before
Your typical work week is 45 hours. Of this time, we allow you to spend 5 hours a week studying a new skill. We call this the 45/5 Rule. You get access to a massive library of coaching and training material plus mentorship from senior employees. In addition, we frequently get world-class entrepreneurs, authors and speakers visiting our office as guest speakers for our weekly company meetings. We’re an education company. We live and breathe learning. Mindvalley founder Vishen Lakhiani recently shared the stage with the Dalai Lama and Sir Richard Branson to give a speech on Mindvalley’s model of growing employees. 6 have fun like nobody’s watching
We put the “Fun” in “Business Fundamentals”. Don’t get us wrong—we’re a disciplined, well-oiled engine of growth. But we believe that business should be fun and people should look forward to going to work each day. And so we create a work environment that is designed to make your tasks, your team mates and even company meetings, a ton of fun.
7 entrepreneurship
We understand that great people dream of starting their own companies. We help you attain this dream. We provide training and mentorship to help you grow. Simply put, you are free to learn from us and then move on when you are ready to start your own business. We respect entrepreneurship. Ex-Mindvalley employees have gone on to found numerous business ventures from web apps, to a yoga studio, to a marketing consulting firm, to venture funded dot-coms. We’re proud of them. Close to 25% of everyone we’ve hired has become an entrepreneur within 3 years. Of this, 9% of everyone we’ve ever hired has become a Mindvalley venture backed entrepreneur. 8 giving back to the planet
Many of our employees have spent significant time volunteering or working for non-profits. We started this business to change the world. Money came naturally. As a result, we will devote our time and attention to causes that may not bring in short term profits, but may result in positive social change. In our spare time Mindvalley folks volunteer their time to charitable causes that have so far include education programs for refugees in South East Asia, funding for schools in Africa and life training skills at orphanages. Our most publicized event, Awesomeness Fest, was recently transformed into a non-profit enterprise. For more on Mindvalley’s work to give back to the planet click here

Mindvalley in pictures
We have one of the coolest workspaces in the world. Think grass covered walls, secret compartments, a zen-like meditation room, giant beanbags, the latest Apple technology… and that’s just for starters. We’ve been featured in Interior Design magazines for having one of the most awesome offices around. Oh yes, and we have a Robot. No joke.
Office in Paradise
Yep that’s right, we moved our HQ from New York and San Francisco to the tropical paradise of Malaysia. Not only is Kuala Lumpur (the capital city) one of the hottest economic growth regions in the world, it’s an incredibly fun country to work in – with some of the world’s most exotic location like Phuket, Bali and Angkor all within a few hours flight.
“The greatest thing about working at Mindvalley is that I can wake up at 7am and be on a beach in Thailand by noon”
~ Ewa Wysocka
‘Happiness’ is the new ‘Productivity’
In 2009, founder and CEO of Mindvalley was asked to speak at TEDx about how he has created such a unique company culture. This video is the extended version of his TEDx speech, filmed at Awesomeness Fest, where you can get an insight into our mission to become the world’s greatest workplace by 2020.
Our Team Retreat
We believe that the best way to grow a company is to grow our individuals. Our unique annual team retreat is one of the ways we do this, where the team spends 4 days together on a beautiful beach working on all areas of their lives. Packed with bonding, fun and knowledge sharing, we also bring in personal growth leaders and inspirational entrepreneurs to rub shoulders with our employees (often resulting in close friendships).
Awesomeness Fest
Awesomeness Fest is Mindvalley’s annual event that brings together people who are by nature, driven to change the world. Think powerful trainings, groundbreaking ideas, deep connections, breathtaking parties and epic activities. Each year in a different location, we held it in Costa Rica in 2010 and Hawaii in 2011. Much of the work we do is on the cutting edge of marketing and technology. You can’t get a formal education in blogging, internet marketing, creating viral YouTube videos or Ruby on Rails programming. So we hire people based on their ability to think, to grow, and to strive to be the best in their fields.
We hire a wide scope of people, including programmers, writers, bloggers, DJs, videographers, artist, mathematicians and marketers. Your education isn’t important. Your life story, personal accomplishments, personality, skills and goals are what we really look for. Don’t see something that fits your skills? Don’t let that hold you back. We recruit smart people all year round and train them to develop talents in the fields they enjoy.
If you’re unsure of where you might fit in, send your cover letter and résumé to careers@mindvalley.com. We’ll write back if we have a position for you.
