Internet marketers spend time managing communities, running affiliate networks, maintaining blogs and thinking of creative ways to drive traffic to sites. You get paid to spend time using sites that you’d often use for fun—like YouTube, Facebook or Digg—and get to work with the launch and monetization of million dollar online retail stores.

Web + Graphic Designers

You will be the creative art director and designer for websites visited by thousands every day. Put your design skills to the test, and give cutting edge web applications a user experience people rave about.
As for our upcoming projects, you will be working with genius programmers to make sure brilliant ideas are packaged even better.
Skills Needed:
Advanced CSS, XHTML, Photoshop/Illustrator, (Flash not needed)

Database Engineers
- Consider SQL your “second language”?
- Let relational databases get in the way of real-world relationships?.
- Consider your indices and ER diagrams artistic works that merit framing?
- Stay up late at night trying to mentally reverse engineer the database for Facebook or Flickr?
At our lab you’ll be responsible for working on our latest suite of Web 2.0 applications including SocialRank and BlinkList. We’re experimenting with inventing entirely new applications and re-inventing old products into shiny new cutting edge tools. Our weapons of choice are PHP, MySQL and Ajax and we apply a lot of code re-use and best practices from the Web 2.0 community.
The ideal candidate will have strong ER-modeling, database design, object oriented analysis and object oriented programming skills. Strong experience on MySQL and solid PHP and Java programming skills.
Skills Needed:
XHTML, XML, Web Design, Advanced Database Design, Advanced SQL Knowledge, Object Oriented Javascript
Optional Skills:
UI Design, Perl, Python, Knowledge of Google and Amazon.com APIs, Advanced CSS Skills, Knowledge of Testing Methodology, Framework Development and Improvement.
Bloggers/Writers/Researchers
- You love reading, writing, and investigating stories… online.
- Believe you can stir up conversation… through a blog post?
- Have a strong interest in internet marketing and/or the personal development field?
- Have unparalleled writing skills and believe the pen is mightier than the sword?
- Did we mention, good English writing skills?
You are a prolific writer with a desire to connect the world through writing. You will conduct research, interact with our readers, and increase web traffic on a network of blogs with engaging content. You will be given ownership of high-traffic blogs and learn how to optimize them. Most importantly, you will let your personality shine through with your writing abilities.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the internet and/or personal development field, have excellent writing skills, interpersonal skills, and enjoys working against deadlines.
Everything else can be learned.
Skills Needed:
Excellent writing skills, interpersonal skills, enjoys virtual interaction, computer savvy.
Optional Skills:
Previous experience in internet marketing, running blogs, and setting up blogs. A great personality with a “can-do” attitude. Love for poetry and creative writing is accepted.
