This is the story of a simple conversation on a bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But it changed the trajectory of my life \u2014 and the destiny of my children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back in 2015, I was part of the XPRIZE Innovation Board \u2014 a small circle of CEOs, engineers, entrepreneurs, and futurists who met once a year to explore the frontiers of technology across the U.S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On one of those trips, we found ourselves in Boston, visiting cutting-edge robotics labs. And one afternoon, on a bus ride between facilities, I found myself sitting next to Naveen Jain<\/strong> \u2014 billionaire entrepreneur, moonshot thinker, and one of the boldest voices I know in education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But what struck me that day wasn\u2019t what he said about tech or space or AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was what he said about raising his son.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sitting nearby was his 24-year-old son, Ankur Jain<\/strong>.

My mother was a public school teacher.

Fast forward ten years\u2026

Conferences. Summits. Retreats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But here\u2019s the thing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nothing existed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were personal growth seminars, business masterminds, spiritual workshops\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But none welcomed kids.
None were designed for families.
None offered learning that brought parents and children together in the same room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So we decided to build it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s how Mindvalley University was born<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In 2017, we launched the first experimental version of what would become Mindvalley University<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The concept was radical at the time:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
