For most of my life, breathing was a struggle. Taking prescription medication for as long as I could remember, first for asthma and then later for COPD, I struggled with something as simple as walking and talking at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As I grew older, I began to accumulate other problems – unrelenting acid reflux, severe allergies, and arthritis pain. I became resigned to a bleak, painful, breathless future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My life shifted when I changed my relationship with food and learned to listen, really listen, to my body. For the first time in my memory, I was no longer taking any medication. I lost 50 pounds. I could breathe deeply and freely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My world expanded and I feel anything is possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
