Clients who love your coaching style.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">These are your ideal clients.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">When we aim to work only with ideal clients, we can achieve phenomenal results with far less effort.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">But how do you know you\u2019ve found an ideal client? How can you be sure when you\u2019re talking to them for the first time during a discovery call or introductory conversation?<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">The answer is simple. Ask the right questions.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">These 3 simple yet revealing questions will help you decide if a potential client is the perfect fit for you.<\/p>\n<h2 data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Question #1: What does \u201csuccess\u201d mean to you?<\/h2>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Too often, coaches work with clients for months to help them reach their goals and dreams only for the client to realize those goals and dreams weren\u2019t what they wanted after all.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">This can be devastating for the client and extremely frustrating and stressful for the coach.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Getting your clients to define success from the start will help both of you.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">It will create a clear picture so your client can set the right goals.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">It will also help you make an important decision\u2026<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Does your potential client\u2019s definition of success motivate you to bring your best skills to the table?<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">This is vital.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">If you don\u2019t feel excited about a client\u2019s vision for success, they are not your ideal client. If you ignore this and work with them anyway, you won\u2019t be able to serve them at your highest level.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">This has serious consequences.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Your client won\u2019t experience your best work, and you\u2019re likely to damage your reputation.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">So, if you\u2019re not motivated or inspired by the answer to this question, let that client go and move on.<\/p>\n<h2 data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Question #2: What is the biggest challenge you\u2019re facing right now, and what have you done so far to try and overcome this challenge?<\/h2>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">This is a two-in-one question.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">The answer to the first part helps you understand where your client is now. You\u2019ll get an insight into their mindset. You\u2019ll have an idea on what they believe is a \u201cbig challenge.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">The second part of the question gives you an idea of your potential client\u2019s level of motivation.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">In general, clients who say they\u2019ve tried more than one way to solve a big problem have a great deal of determination.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Every coach dreams of working with clients like this.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">They usually have the drive, focus, and discipline it takes to work with you until they get the results they\u2019re looking for.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">If you get a great answer to this question, it\u2019s a good sign you\u2019re talking to an ideal client.<\/p>\n<h2 data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Question #3: If you had limitless power and funds to create one major change in this world, what would it be?<\/h2>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">What does this question have to do with coaching?<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Everything.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">It can tell you more about your client than all of the other questions combined.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">This question gives you insight into your client\u2019s deepest beliefs and values.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">If they say something like, \u201cI\u2019ll end all wars for good,\u201d you know your client values peace and harmony above all else.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">If they say, \u201cI\u2019ll get rid of discrimination,\u201d you know your client has a strong sense of integrity and believes fairness is a priority.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Knowing your client\u2019s deepest values and beliefs will help you understand who they are, what motivates them to create change and how you can help them achieve results.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">But what do you do if your client shares an answer that\u2019s very different from your own personal views of the world?<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">You\u2019ll have the chance to decide if you are the right coach to help this client achieve their goal.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">If not, don\u2019t work with them.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Clients who are not a good fit are often the ones who will call you at all hours asking for advice.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">They are the ones who show up late for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mindvalley.com\/ultimate-guide-to-transformational-coaching-sessions\/coaching-session-structure?utm_source=blog_hyperlink&amp;utm_campaign=evergreen_csp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-uw-rm-brl=\"false\" aria-label=\"coaching sessions -
