Something that will inspire and motivate progress. Something that will make the journey easier.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Below is the map of your entire journey to success as a coach, abundance, and freedom, marked out in stages. The journey doesn\u2019t always flow in exactly the same way, but it does follow this general direction.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">As you move from one stage to another, here are a few pointers that will help you know where you are and what you must prioritize.<\/p>\n<h2 data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Stage I: The Soldier<\/h2>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">This is the stage when you first get introduced to coaching. You like the idea. You\u2019re inspired to know more, so you start to educate yourself on the subject.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">At this stage, you\u2019ll probably juggle part-time coaching as you hold down a full-time or part-time job somewhere to pay the bills.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">You\u2019ll have some basic understanding of coaching, or you\u2019ll have some experience in the field, but you are still a newbie. Still learning the ropes.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">If you\u2019re a soldier:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\" data-uw-rm-sr=\"\">You\u2019ll make very little or no income from coaching. Your numbers will be well below $10,000 a year<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">You\u2019ll have another job<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">You spend a lot of time observing what other coaches are doing<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">You\u2019re not sure about your next step<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">You spend way too much time on social media, commenting on or reading other people\u2019s posts<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">You feel awkward when you\u2019re coaching someone, and you feel downright uncomfortable making sales calls<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">If you\u2019re a soldier, you should:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Coach as much as you can, even if you have to do it for free. Money isn\u2019t the focus at this stage. It\u2019s about gaining experience.<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Learn coaching methodologies. Talk about coaching with others. Test and explore your methods with friends, colleagues, and family members<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Focus on building confidence in yourself and in your ability to make an irresistible offer to people you meet.<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\" data-uw-rm-mod=\"\">Start going to events that will help you understand and master the art of running a successful coaching practice<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Start going to events you know your clients will love so you can meet them, connect with them, and get to know them<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Stage II: The Knight\/Dame<\/h2>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">At Stage II, you\u2019re starting to feel confident as a coach, and you even have a few clients.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">If you\u2019re a Knight\/Dame:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\" data-uw-rm-sr=\"\">You have some income coming in from coaching\u2014between $10,000 and $50,000 a year<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">You have a handful of clients<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">You have started thinking about creating coaching packages<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">You are overwhelmed by how much you have to do to grow your coaching practice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>If you\u2019re a Knight\/Dame, you should:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Start creating\u00a0<a style=\"outline: none;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mindvalley.com\/ultimate-guide-to-coaching-prices-and-packages?utm_source=blog_hyperlink&amp;utm_campaign=evergreen_sycb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-uw-styling-context=\"true\" aria-label=\"coaching packages - opens in new tab\" data-uw-rm-brl=\"false\" data-uw-rm-ext-link=\"na\">coaching packages<\/a><\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Spend a lot of your time conducting coaching conversations<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Find ways to get comfortable with rejection. Look for the yeses between the noes.<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Start going to industry events so you can become a better coach<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\" data-uw-rm-mod=\"\">Start going to industry events to learn about creating coaching packages and mastering sales<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Stage III: Prince\/Princesses<\/h2>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">At this stage, your client list has grown exponentially. You\u2019ve gained traction, and you\u2019re successful. But this is also the stage where you\u2019ll start to feel stuck.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">If you\u2019re a Prince\/Princess:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">You\u2019ve been coaching for 2 to 5 years<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\" data-uw-rm-sr=\"\">Your income is great, around the $200,000 mark per year<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">You have a ton of clients<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">You\u2019re working way too hard<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">You catch yourself wondering how you\u2019re ever going to grow with so much on your plate<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">You start to value time more than money<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>If you\u2019re a Prince\/Princess, you should:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Pay very close attention to your prices. Price is paramount right now. Consider increasing your prices by 10%, 20%, or 30%<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Hire a team to help with the sales process so you can have more time and energy<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Hire a coach who can support you at this stage<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Start improving your online presence as you create online programs<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Think about writing a book to increase your credibility as an authority in your area of expertise<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\" data-uw-rm-mod=\"\">Focus on increasing enrollment rates to your mastermind or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mindvalley.com\/ultimate-guide-to-group-coaching?utm_source=blog_hyperlink&amp;utm_campaign=evergreen_cm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-uw-styling-context=\"true\" aria-label=\"group coaching - opens in new tab\" data-uw-rm-brl=\"false\" data-uw-rm-ext-link=\"na\">group coaching<\/a>\u00a0program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Stage IV: King\/Queen<\/h2>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\" data-uw-rm-mod=\"\">The fourth and final state is when you get to experience more stability in your business. You are looking to make a bigger impact and increase your reach. At this stage, your website is your calling card<\/li>\n<li data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Recreate your vision. Make it bigger and more exciting.
