You are no longer confined by the time restraint of the one-on-one model because you can now reach far more clients with your insights, techniques, strategies, and expertise.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">This may sound like a great idea\u2014and it is\u2014but it may not be for every coach.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">There is massive mistake many coaches make when they decide to design a group program\u2026 They don\u2019t take time to consider if they are at the right stage in their business and end up feeling disheartened and disappointed if they don\u2019t get to fill the program with enthusiastic participants.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Even worse\u2026 I\u2019ve seen many coaches hesitate to create a second group program when the first\u00a0one fails because they have a false belief that says,<em data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">\u00a0\u201cI don\u2019t know how to create a successful program.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">You can avoid these issues when you are able to accurately determine if you are ready to start creating <a style=\"outline: none;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mindvalley.com\/ultimate-guide-to-group-coaching?utm_source=blog_hyperlink&amp;utm_campaign=evergreen_cm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" aria-label=\"group coaching programs - opens in new tab\" data-uw-styling-context=\"true\" data-uw-rm-brl=\"false\" data-uw-rm-ext-link=\"na\">group coaching programs<\/a> for your clients.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Here are 3 questions you need to ask yourself and consider before, so you don\u2019t end up setting yourself up for failure.<\/p>\n<h2>1. Is my audience too small?<\/h2>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">If you\u2019re a new (or fairly new) coach and you don\u2019t have an audience or following on\u00a0social media and email, a group coaching program is a bad idea.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Filling a group program can be a challenge even for coaches who have a massive\u00a0following and who have been in the game for years.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">This is because only a small percentage of people will want a group program at any given time. This is not a reflection of a coach\u2019s ability or expertise. It is a marketing principle, and it\u2019s called the \u201cconversion rate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">The average conversion rate, which refers to converting your audience members into buyers, is notoriously small. Conventional marketing wisdom tells us that an average rate is generally around 1-3%.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">This works out to be just 10 to 30 people even if you have an audience of 1000. Thus, with a smaller, disengaged, or disinterested audience, the numbers decrease dramatically.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">This does not mean that you need to have an audience of 100,000 before you attempt your first group program, but knowing these conventional numbers will give you an idea of how important it is to grow an engaged tribe first if you are looking for a higher number of sign-ups.<span style=\"color: #ffffff; background: #000000; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px); clip-path: inset(50%); height: 1px; width: 1px; margin: -1px; overflow: hidden; padding: 0; position: absolute;\" data-uw-rm-ignore=\"\" data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Empty heading<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">3. Do I know what to teach?<\/h2>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">One-on-one sessions are very different from group programs.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">When you work one-on-one, you are able to hone in and target an individual client\u2019s problems and challenges.
