Won AI image prompt competition on X with three-word formula
After learning AI tools and prompt engineering, they crafted a winning three-word formula that sparked creativity across a community. Their strategic blend of art terminology won a competitive challenge and attracted new followers eager to experiment with their innovative approach.
I developed a generic 3 word image prompt to be added by one or two words of your choice. I submitted that prompt to a weekly challenge on X by a relatively well known and highly active AI image creation influencer.
I won the competition with that prompt.
Tools (used to check my ideas in image creation and come up with that submitted prompt)
- ChatGPT
- Midjourney. with and without personalisation
- Magai (a "wrapper" for LLMs, image and video creation): Stable Diffusion 3.5, Flux 1.1 Pro, Flux 1.1 Ultra, Leonardo, ...
- Freepik (Mystic 2.5)
The uploaded images were pure Midjourney to set a ground level.
The effect was that many created images with my base prompt and I got a few followers (my account is still small and I am grateful for any new follower)
Methodology and Learnings:
Base Prompt: Neo-expressionistic eclectic evocation [ your word ]
Used examples:
1. Neo-expressionistic eclectic evocation Apocalypse
2. Neo-expressionistic eclectic evocation Lovescene
3. Neo-expressionistic eclectic evocation Dogfight
4. 4. Neo-expressionistic eclectic evocation Racecourse
The basic idea was to mix words with one Art style, one adjective and one general term, all unrelated to each other. With that I hoped to both "open up" the AI to select something surprising, new, unusual while simultaneously guiding it in a general direction. expressionism and eclectic both support that expressive unusual style while evocation might create some specific notion and focus. worked out fine I think.
Insight: "evocative" did not have the same strong effect. it toned everything down to more usual AI visuals.
