They built AI workflows that hand daily chores to machines and time back to

A personal system of AI tools and Make automations that takes over repetitive tasks to free time for family, health and hobbies.

This student did not build one app. They rebuilt their days. By weaving ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Otter and Make into a single routine, they turned automation into something close to a game, and used the hours it saved for the people and things they care about most.

AI-Powered Daily Optimization

Before

Their days were full of repetitive tasks done by hand: research, notes from meetings, turning videos and audio into usable content. Time spent on that work was time not spent on family, health or hobbies. They knew the tools existed but had not yet shaped them around their own needs.

“Automating repetitive tasks saves time for more valuable personal and professional activities.”

The turning point

In the program they chose to go the route of "Walking the Talk": instead of describing AI, they would live with it every day. They made ChatGPT the starting point of each day for brainstorming and problem-solving, brought in Perplexity for research and Claude for coding, and began building scenarios in Make to take repetitive work off their plate.

“Gamifying automation processes as a creative and engaging activity.”

After

Now they run a daily workflow where AI does the heavy lifting. Otter transcribes meetings and videos, Google Drive stores the files for processing, and Make automations move work along without manual effort. They create personalized AI avatars for presentations and instructional videos, and are exploring Chrome extensions to expand what their transcription setup can do.

What it lets people do

Their system shows how one person can turn a meeting or video into a transcript, a summary and then social posts, blogs or instructional material with far less manual work. The personalized avatars let them show up consistently on video without recording every take themselves.

What they learned

They learned that AI pays off most when it is tailored to your specific needs rather than used in general. Automating the repetitive parts of life is not about doing more work but about saving time for what matters, and staying curious about new tools keeps the system growing.

“AI tools greatly enhance productivity when tailored to specific needs.”
