With no coding experience, this operations leader partnered with AI to automate a complex quarterly language assignment system in days—a task that previously required manual work across multiple spreadsheets and would have taken weeks to build traditionally.
Achievements: Automated the entire quarterly language assignment process for Mile High Multilingual Services, a task previously done manually across multiple spreadsheets and emails. Built a fully interactive database with 433 language assignments distributed fairly across coordinators by work hours, a complete backup coverage plan, per-coordinator task lists, and daily performance reminders.
Tools: Claude AI (Anthropic) via Cowork, used for data analysis, logic design, code generation, and full HTML build. No coding experience required.
Methodology: I described the business problem, provided the data, and directed AI to build the solution step by step. I reviewed each output, corrected it based on real operational knowledge, and refined it iteratively until the tool was production-ready.
Learnings: You don't need to be a developer to build powerful internal tools. By combining 22+ years of operational expertise with AI execution, I produced in days what would have taken weeks, and created something my team will use every quarter going forward.
