An AI Mastery student turned 35 classes into an engine for two new ventures

An Airtable map of all 35 AI Mastery classes, wired to OpenAI through Make.com, now generates workshop ideas for specific audiences.

This student set out to shape two businesses at once, one of their own and one for their wife, using what they learned in AI Mastery 2024. Instead of just taking notes, they turned the whole course into a working system that suggests new workshops on its own. It is a clear picture of how a course can become the backbone of a business.

Your AI Backpack and Just Soak In

Before

They wanted a future no longer tied to a full-time job, and had two business ideas to make real: Your AI Backpack for themselves and Just Soak In for their wife. The ideas needed a brand, an audience and a steady flow of content. What they lacked was the momentum and a system to hold it all together.

“With AI Mastery, achieving a future no longer dependent on a full-time job is not a matter of "if", but "WHEN".”

In their own words

The turning point

Lesson 14 with Iman gave them the push to start. Using Custom GPTs and Canvas chats, they shaped a brand identity, five audience personas such as "Curious Professionals" and "The Skeptic", content pillars and monthly and weekly calendars. Following Vishen's advice, they also brought their 2025 goals into the same workspace.

“Lesson 14 from Iman established the momentum to get this going.”

After

They built an Airtable base mapping every one of the 35 AI Mastery classes with descriptions, tools, resources and transcripts. A Make.com automation has OpenAI scan those records and propose tutorial workshops tailored to each persona, with an estimated time for each. Daily journaling and goal tracking now sit beside it, so each day's work links back to a bigger aim.

What it lets people do

Your AI Backpack is meant to help people who are curious but inexperienced with AI bring it into everyday life through approachable, no-code tutorials. The automated system turns what was taught in class into ready workshop ideas for those people, so planning content no longer starts from a blank page.

What they learned

They found that trying every tool matters, because what works for each student can differ from the lecturers' examples. They also came to see their knowledge itself as a business, and 2025 as the year to build on it.

“In general - Trying every tool taught in AI Mastery is important as the examples given by the AI Mastery lecturers on which ones to use (and how) can differ from what each of us discover that works for us.”

Methodology: - Core goal was to solidify two entrepreneurial business models based on learnings from the AI Mastery 2024 course. One for my wife (Just Soak In), and the other for my own venture (Your AI Backpack). Lesson 14 from Iman established the momentum to get this going. - Through Custom GPTs and Canvas based chats, I established the following: - Brand Identity for Your AI Backpack - empowers individuals who are curious but inexperienced with AI to integrate this transformative technology into their everyday lives with ease. Through approachable, no-code tutorials, real-world applications, and engaging content, we provide the tools and knowledge that make AI accessible to anyone—from the curious learner to the busy professional. By breaking down complex technologies into everyday tools, Your AI Backpack makes AI approachable, practical, and empowering. - Audience Personas and their Demographics - Identified as "Curious Professionals", "Creative Entrepreneurs", "Tech-Savvy Enthusiasts", "The Skeptic (AI Impact)" and "Parents/Guardians". - Clusters for my Content Pillars - To effectively build a content strategy that resonates with Your AI Backpack's diverse audience, content needs to be organized around specific themes or pillars. Each content pillar represents a core area of interest or concern for the audience, while clusters within each pillar help to break down complex ideas into more digestible, relatable topics. - Monthly and Weekly Content Calendars covering the release of newsletters, AI tools tips and tricks, free guides and teasers for premium paid content (more extensive guides, workshops and dedicated AI "audits" and needs assessments for smaller businesses). Achievements: - Creation of an Airtable base mapping all of the 35 AI Mastery 2024 classes by title, description, AI tools list, AI Mastery app resources and transcripts. - Built a Make.com automation that has an OpenAI chat completion scan all records of the Airtable for specific fields. OpenAI then does an analysis of the AI Mastery course data and generates AI tutorial workshop ideas for my AI consultation business. The workshops are geared towards specific audience personas defined above, and an estimated time to perform them is included in the ChatGPT output. Effectively, what was learned, along with the audience personas and the skills I've demonstrated in practice are factored in the recommendations that my custom GPT models generate as content that supports the brand identity and monetization goals. - In taking Vishen's advice, I applied to my Airtable the 2025 Goals, which span my personal and professional milestones. I applied it to my business Knowledge Management Airtabel base since it keeps me accountable and inspired on a daily basis, but shows a clear connection so that the work I do indeed progresses the needle for the entrepreneurial success. Tools: - ChatGPT 4o/Canvas/o1, OpenAI API, Claude, Perplexity, Co-Pilot - Udio, Suno - RunwayML, Sora, Flux.AI, Midjourney - Airtable, Make.com - Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Audition, Illustrator - Descript - ElevenLabs - Glide, FlutterFlow, Firebase, Google Workspace - Canva - Instagram, YouTube Studio, Wix.com Learnings: - Perplexity is truly the best research tool, but pairs very well when combine with ChatGPT for its brainstorming for carefully crafted ideation and innovation. - Udio's detailed sampling controls and genre recognition is superior compared to Suno. - FlutterFlow is a steep learning curve, but its built-in AI helps a lot with app development. Glide is great for quick idea realization and small deployment, but costly when using many AI integrations. - Enterprise AI is definitely behind on the advancements that Generative AI for the public has, but this is obviously for security and better controls on the quality and accuracy of data that is input and resulting data output by Enterprise LLMs. IBM could be leading the way in this development with Watson X. - In general - Trying every tool taught in AI Mastery is important as the examples given by the AI Mastery lecturers on which ones to use (and how) can differ from what each of us discover that works for us. - 2025 is a critical year where the knowledge we have is truly a business. Figuring out how I will scale and monetize my business before Agentic AI takes over even more is mission priority one.
