Dan Wang built an AI assistant overnight that now helps run their days
Dan Wang took AIDAN from concept to working assistant overnight, and it now handles routine tasks as a daily operational helper.
Dan Wang did not just learn about generative AI during the program. They built an assistant called AIDAN overnight and kept using it until it became part of daily work. It is a clear picture of what walking the talk looks like.
AIDAN — Live Demonstration of Generative AI in Daily Practice
Before
Dan wanted to show, not just say, that AI could carry real everyday work. The gap was moving from an idea to something that actually ran routine tasks day after day. The submission frames the goal plainly: actionable impact, not theory.
“A real-world, overnight-from-concept build that evolved into a daily operational assistant.”

The turning point
Working with Mindvalley AI frameworks, Dan went from ideation to a working build in a single night. Using OpenClaw, Airtable and a cloud stack, they shaped AIDAN into an assistant with end-to-end workflow automation. Dan even lists AIDAN as a team member alongside themselves.
After
AIDAN grew from an overnight experiment into a daily operational assistant. Dan now relies on it for routine tasks and tracks how it performs through usage frequency, task throughput and satisfaction. Personal data is handled in a sandbox with secure data practices.
What it lets people do
AIDAN automates workflows from start to finish and works across different areas of life and work. A continuous learning loop means it keeps improving with use, freeing time from routine tasks.
What they learned
For Dan, the real value of AI came from habit, not novelty. Building fast was the start, but using it every day is what turned a demo into tangible outcomes.
“This submission emphasizes actionable impact, habits formation around AI usage, and tangible outcomes from day-to-day deployment.”
In their own words
AIDAN — Live Demonstration of Generative AI in Daily Practice was built during AI Mastery.
