A multi-business founder turned scattered AI experiments into one working system
During AI Accelerator, one founder linked consulting, nonprofit, creative and AI workflows into a single connected Airtable platform.
This founder runs businesses, nonprofit initiatives and creative projects at once, and during AI Accelerator they stopped juggling them in separate tools. They built a connected platform in Airtable where strategy, execution and AI work side by side. Their story shows that the real leap with AI often starts with design, not clever prompts.
Before
Their work spread across consulting, branding, communications, publications and nonprofit efforts. Airtable was a simple database tool, and AI was something they tried here and there. They describe this stage as scattered experimentation, with ideas and data living in disconnected tools.
“This approach allowed me to move from scattered experimentation to intentional, system-driven implementation of AI across my daily work.”

The turning point
In AI Accelerator, they came to a simple but powerful realisation: AI works best on top of clear structure. They adopted a rule of structure first, automation second, designing their data architecture before adding AI. They began treating AI as a collaborator that helps interpret and speed up decisions, not something that replaces human judgment.
“The biggest realization was that effective AI implementation begins with system design, not prompts.”

After
They now run a set of interconnected Airtable bases covering consulting operations, branding, communications, publication workflows and project tracking. Form-based intake, custom AI assistants, prompt frameworks and workflow integrations sit on top of that structure. Their daily use of AI has become intentional and system-driven.
What it lets people do
The system lets information be captured, analysed and acted on within real workflows, with AI contributing across several stages of work instead of isolated tasks. It shows how a small team, or even a solo entrepreneur, can run with the organisation and clarity of a much larger operation.
What they learned
Their biggest lesson is that effective AI begins with system design, not prompts. They found automation adds the most value when it brings clarity to decisions rather than just saving time, and that technology is at its best when it strengthens human leadership, creativity and values.
“The true power of AI emerges when technology strengthens human leadership, creativity, and values.”
