An Airtable system that pulls in every Instagram post, caption and metric automatically, replacing spreadsheets and manual work.
This student took a slow, repetitive chore, keeping track of every Instagram post, and turned it into a system that runs on its own. They did it without writing code, using what they learned in AI Mastery. It is a clear example of how one program can change the way someone works day to day.
Before
Their Instagram content lived in spreadsheets and manual processes. Keeping track of images, captions and likes took time and attention. That left less room for the work that mattered, like planning what to post next.
“Learning how to integrate tools like Airtable and Make enabled me to design and implement advanced workflows without needing coding expertise.”

The turning point
In the AI Mastery program, they saw the power of automation to remove repetitive tasks. They learned to connect tools like Airtable and Make, and the program's focus on APIs gave them the confidence to plug into Instagram's API directly. The framework also taught them to define a clear goal, plan the workflow and iterate.
“The emphasis on leveraging APIs to unlock automation opportunities gave me the confidence to integrate Instagram's API into my workflow.”

After
They built a workflow in Make that downloads every Instagram post, with its images, captions and metrics, backs the images up to Google Drive and files everything into an Airtable database. New posts are added automatically, and the system is tuned to avoid duplicates. They now have an organized, real-time content inventory and more time for strategy.
What it lets people do
Everything ever posted to an Instagram account sits in one searchable place, updated as new content goes live. A content team can look back at past posts and their engagement without digging, and plan ahead with less effort. The same approach could later cover platforms like TikTok or Pinterest.
What they learned
They learned that automation is less about tools and more about freeing time for high-value work. They also learned to think bigger, building systems that can grow and adapt rather than solving one task at a time.
“Most importantly, the program inspired me to think bigger: creating scalable systems that can evolve and adapt to future needs, like expanding this workflow to other platforms.”
