Before
Their website content started life in French, but it needed to reach English and Romanian readers too. Every update meant translating by hand, and keeping three language versions consistent in tone and message took time. Each new piece of content added more manual work.
“Eliminated the need for manual translations, significantly reducing time spent on content updates.”

The turning point
In the Mindvalley AI Mastery Program, the emphasis on practical AI applications gave them a foundation to rethink the problem. They saw that a workflow tool and a language model could take over the repetitive part. The idea was simple: let the act of adding content be the trigger for translating it.
“The program's emphasis on practical AI applications inspired me to create a workflow that merges technology and user-centric design, proving how automation can break language barriers and elevate accessibility.”

After
They built a Make.com scenario that watches a Google Sheet for new rows of French text. Each row is sent to an OpenAI GPT model for English, then again for Romanian, and both translations are written into their own columns in the same row. An optional notification confirms when the updates are done, so every language version stays in sync.
What it lets people do
Whoever manages the site can write once in French and have English and Romanian versions appear moments later, ready to publish. The structured output makes website updates simpler, and the design can be extended to more languages or larger amounts of content.
What they learned
They learned how much a workflow gains when actions fire the moment data is entered. Along the way they sharpened their troubleshooting and optimisation skills, and came to see automation as a way to break language barriers and make content more accessible.
“Understood the importance of triggering immediate actions upon data entry for seamless workflow execution.”

Project Description:
This project automates the translation of website content from French into English and Romanian, ensuring multilingual accessibility for a broader audience. Using a Google Sheets structure and Make.com, the system triggers translations whenever a new row is added, saving time and maintaining consistency across all languages.
By combining AI language capabilities with seamless workflow automation, the system enables instant translations that are both accurate and contextually appropriate. The structured output simplifies website updates and ensures all language versions are in sync.
Achievements:
Effortless Multilingual Translation:
- Automated the translation process for French content into English and Romanian with high accuracy.
Dynamic Workflow:
- Built a system that triggers translations in real-time whenever new content is added to the Google Sheet.
Consistency Across Languages:
- Ensured that all translated content maintains the tone and message of the original French text.
Time Savings:
- Eliminated the need for manual translations, significantly reducing time spent on content updates.
Tools Used:
Make:
- Orchestrates the entire workflow, connecting data inputs and AI translation processes.
Google Sheets:
- Serves as the central repository for managing French content and storing the resulting translations.
OpenAI GPT Model:
- Performs the translations from French to English and Romanian with precision and fluency.
Update Modules in Make:
- Ensures the translated content is accurately updated in the corresponding Google Sheet columns.
Methodology:
Monitor New Rows in Google Sheets:
- The workflow starts by monitoring the Google Sheet for any new rows added to the column containing French text.
Translate to English:
- The French text is sent to the OpenAI GPT model for translation into English.
- The resulting English translation is recorded in the "Text in English" column.
Update Google Sheet (English Translation):
- The English translation is automatically inserted into the appropriate column in the same row.
Translate to Romanian:
- The original French text is again sent to the OpenAI GPT model for translation into Romanian.
- The Romanian translation is then prepared for output.
Update Google Sheet (Romanian Translation):
- The Romanian translation is added to the corresponding "Text in Romanian" column in the same row.
Completion Notification (Optional):
- The system can send a notification once translations are completed, confirming that updates have been made.
Learnings:
Streamlined Translation Processes:
- Learned how to automate translations effectively, ensuring multilingual updates are both efficient and accurate.
Real-Time Updates:
- Understood the importance of triggering immediate actions upon data entry for seamless workflow execution.
Scalable Automation:
- Developed a scalable solution that can be adapted for additional languages or larger datasets as needed.
Improved Workflow Design:
- Enhanced troubleshooting and optimization skills to refine the automation for better performance and reliability.

Conclusion:
The Automated Website Content Translation System demonstrates the power of AI and automation in making content accessible to a multilingual audience. By leveraging Make.com and OpenAI’s language models, this project ensures efficient, accurate, and timely translations, simplifying the process of maintaining a multilingual website.
The Mindvalley AI Mastery Program provided the foundation to conceptualize and implement this innovative solution. The program's emphasis on practical AI applications inspired me to create a workflow that merges technology and user-centric design, proving how automation can break language barriers and elevate accessibility.
