Facing 43 bugs to log by hand, they built an app that files them in minutes
A product owner turned 2.5 hours of manual bug entry into an app that auto-creates findings in Azure DevOps.
This is a story about looking at a tedious afternoon of work and deciding to build a way out of it. Faced with 43 findings to log by hand, they built a Lovable app that creates the bugs for them. It shows how a practical problem at work can become a working tool.
Lovable bug auto-creation app for Azure DevOps
Before
They were responsible for a product whose findings reports had to be turned into bugs, one at a time. After one review, they had 43 findings to create. Doing it manually would have taken at least 2.5 hours.
“I realized that it would take me at least 2.5 hours to manually create these bugs.”

The turning point
Instead of starting the long manual job, they decided to build an app to do it. They talked it through with the Enterprise version of ChatGPT to work out how to format the data for the Azure Command Line Interface. Then they created an Azure DevOps token and had Lovable store it securely.
“I decided to instead create a Lovable app that would instead auto-create these bugs for me.”

After
They now have a Lovable app that auto-creates bugs from findings. What used to be hours of copying became a quick, repeatable step. They recorded a demo video to walk others through how it works.
What it lets people do
The app lets their team create bugs much more quickly from a findings report. Instead of entering each finding by hand, the team can send them through in one go.
What they learned
A repetitive task is often a signal to build something rather than push through it. Pairing an AI conversation to plan the data format with a no-code builder was enough to get a working tool connected to their team's real systems.
“This has enabled our team to create bugs much more quickly.”
In their own words
Lovable bug auto-creation app for Azure DevOps was built during AI Mastery.
