Case Study · AI Mastery

A ten-year founder turned AI into a daily practice and built two publications

A 258-page development programme and an 85-page executive publication, produced by one founder with AI as editorial partner.

This founder has spent ten years helping professionals and organisations get the best out of people. In AI Mastery, they found a way to close the gap between what they knew and what they could produce, creating a 258-page programme and an 85-page executive publication. Their story shows what happens when AI becomes a daily practice rather than an occasional tool.

Founder of a ten-year-old company in professional and organisational development, working with senior leaders.

The Professional's ABC + Decision Architecture and Building Capability Under Pressure

Before

Ten years ago they started a company to help professionals get the most out of themselves and organisations get the best out of their people. They had deep knowledge, enough for a full programme and an executive publication. What they lacked was the production capacity. Work at that scale used to require a team.

“Before, I had the knowledge for a 258-page programme and an 85-page executive publication but not the production capacity.”

In their own words

The turning point

They joined AI Mastery in August 2025 and began using AI every day, not now and then. Claude became their main partner for editing, design and production, with Custom GPTs tracking what senior leaders talk about each week. A method took shape: structure first, iterate relentlessly, design with intention, and never settle.

“AI didn't replace my expertise — it made the gap between what I know and what I can produce almost disappear.”

In their own words

After

They finished The Professional's ABC, a 12-week programme published as a 258-page Canva PDF with its own design system. With a co-author, they produced Building Capability Under Pressure, an 85-page publication of nine leadership capabilities, plus a LinkedIn content pipeline and a prospect database handed to their team. They now offer AI-powered production and audience intelligence as part of their service.

What it lets people do

Professionals get a structured 12-week path to greater self-awareness, communication skill and resilience. CFOs, CIOs and transformation leaders get a practical framework of nine capabilities, each paired with a tool, for keeping transformation moving.

What they learned

AI did not replace their expertise; it made the gap between knowing and producing almost disappear. Each session builds on the last, and the standard stays high. For them, this is a change in practice, not just in tools.

“That's not a tool upgrade. That's a practice transformation.”

In their own words

The Professional's ABC + Decision Architecture and Building Capability Under Pressure was built during AI Mastery.

When I started my company ten years ago, I set out to help professionals get the most out of themselves and help organisations get the best out of their people. Since joining AI Mastery in August 2025, AI has taken that mission to the next level — not as an occasional tool, but as a daily practice that now runs through everything I produce. This submission shows both sides of that practice. SIDE 1 — THE INDIVIDUAL: The Professional's ABC A 12-week professional development programme designed for professionals who want to lead with greater self-awareness, communication skill, and resilience. The final output: a 258-page Canva-designed PDF publication with a bespoke design system (Crimson Pro + DM Sans, cream/bronze/ivory palette), ready for multi-format delivery (book, audio, video). What AI made possible: — Content architecture: AI helped map the programme's structure, validate pedagogical logic, and identify gaps across 12 weeks of material — Editorial partnership: iterative cycles where AI acted as critical reviewer — SWOT analysis, outside-in feedback, pattern detection, tone consistency — Design system development: AI helped build the visual language (typography, colour, spacing) that I then implemented in Canva to create the final publication — Multi-format bridging: moving between Word, HTML, and Canva without losing coherence or quality — Quality assurance: systematic audits across 258 pages for consistency, flow, and instructional clarity This is my own work. AI served as editorial partner, design collaborator, and quality system throughout. SIDE 2 — THE ORGANISATION: Decision Architecture + Transformation Capabilities A thought leadership platform built for a customer, helping CFOs, CIOs, and transformation leaders navigate what happens when decision-making architecture lags operational complexity. The process started with people, not content. I created detailed personas based on senior leaders we know and prospects I had identified and listed in Airtable. Then I built a Custom GPT to track — weekly and monthly — what keeps those people busy: what are the trending topics, what challenges are they facing, what language are they using? Based on those insights, we wrote "Decision Architecture in a Time of Compression" — a multi-article series exploring how AI compresses time, option space, and consequence proximity, and what that means for governance, role convergence, and organisational design. "Building Capability Under Pressure" (formerly Transformation Capabilities) is the practical companion — now a complete 85-page executive publication with 9 chapters across 3 parts. It presents nine leadership capabilities for sustaining transformation momentum, each paired with a specific tool. Where Decision Architecture diagnoses the challenge, this publication answers: what can leaders practically do? AI was instrumental throughout: structuring the 3×3 capability framework, researching and validating the academic sources (Kahneman, Deci & Ryan, Lencioni, Trompenaars, de Waal, Frei, Duhigg), drafting and iterating all nine chapters, and producing the final publication in multiple formats (Word, HTML, PDF). This is a joint effort with a co-author, where I shaped, edited, formatted, and produced the content using AI. What AI made possible across the organisational side: — Two complete executive publications (Decision Architecture + Building Capability Under Pressure) — A LinkedIn content pipeline: articles broken into weekly posting schedules with short-form hooks and long-form carousel posts — Professional carousel designs (ARPERO brand system: navy/coral palette, Inter font, 1080×1350 format) — Source verification, statistical research, and case development — Content architecture connecting individual articles into a coherent intellectual narrative — Audience intelligence: personas built from real senior leaders and Airtable prospect data — Custom GPTs to monitor trending topics and challenges for the target audience — feeding directly into content strategy— Multiple Custom GPTs to identify companies amidst transformation and find senior leaders (CFOs, CIOs, transformation directors) at those organisations — Airtable as CRM to track and manage the full prospect pipeline — Database handed over to the team for outreach, with continued AI-powered updates TOOLS Claude (primary AI partner for editorial, design, and production), ChatGPT + DALL·E (ideation, image generation, Custom GPTs for prospect identification and trend monitoring), Canva (publication design, with Claude-Canva connector accelerating production of this very submission), Airtable (CRM and prospect pipeline management) METHODOLOGY My approach evolved into a consistent practice: 1. Structure first — use AI to map architecture, validate logic, identify gaps 2. Iterate relentlessly — editorial cycles with AI acting as critical reviewer (SWOT analysis, outside-in feedback, pattern detection) 3. Design with intention — build complete visual systems and apply them consistently across hundreds of pages 4. Bridge formats — move between Word, HTML, PDF, Canva and LinkedIn without losing coherence 5. Connect content to audience — use Custom GPTs to identify exactly who needs this work, build a live prospect database, and hand it to the team 6. Never settle — each session builds on the previous one; AI remembers the standard and holds you to it KEY LEARNINGS The biggest shift: AI didn't replace my expertise — it made the gap between what I know and what I can produce almost disappear. Before, I had the knowledge for a 258-page programme and an 85-page executive publication but not the production capacity. Now I produce at a level that used to require a team, while maintaining (and often exceeding) the quality standard. The second shift: AI changed my business model. I now offer AI-powered production and intelligence as part of my service — building prospect databases, monitoring audience trends, and producing professional content at a pace my customers didn't think possible. That's not a tool upgrade. That's a practice transformation. URLS — 20+ Custom GPTs built for content strategy, prospect identification, trend monitoring, and persona simulation — The Alignment Playbook (lead magnet): https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=AhG-sURfX0O9ZiBPIR4C0qU6GgAwZZJHqHDJ-SqaTCZUMVFaVk5NTEVWSzFSWFM5REo4TDZSTkNUSi4u
