Built first app with no prior experience to help voters find right action
With no prior app development experience, she transformed a vague idea into a fully functional AI-powered app designed to help voters process political regret through guided reflection and wisdom traditions—all before the course even ended.
This app is designed for Trump voters and MAGA supporters who are thinking or saying, "I didn't vote for this." The app is premised on the belief that voters had good intentions when they made that vote. It leads them through an AI-assisted thoughts and feelings journey to review their intentions, arriving at a 'moral question' to frame their current dilemma. A visit to the Sanctuary offers dialogue with chat agents grounded in several Wisdom Traditions to help identify 'Right Action' going forward.
Development began with a ChatGPT project using airtable to organize it. VScode and Claude Code were later involved in building a Github repository. The app was built using vibe-coding with Claude to create instructions and JSON files to give to Lovable.dev. Supabase has since replaced airtable. ElevenLabs was used for guided meditation voices. The app has not yet been deployed. I've had multiple friends do testing to work out bugs. I've asked a former MAGA supporter to review the content and am awaiting his suggestions. I am not active on social media and will have to review classes on how to get this out into the world, especially for my intended audience.
I signed up for AI Mastery with a vague idea that I wanted to build this app. I have no prior experience in building apps. Many presenters were very helpful in advancing my familiarity with tools. The most relevant were: Vishen, Noelle, Vyk, and Nick. The most impactful, however, was Tyler & Sara's class. I began seeing how to formulate this app with Tyler's explanation of how he was using n8n. Perhaps if we had succeeded in building the Hattie B project I would have used n8n. But thankfully Tyler gave enormous encouragement to simply tell chat everything I was thinking, tell it to ask me questions, and push forward until my own ideas were clear. That opened the way to The Chapel of Voter Regrets. This isn't complete yet and will likely be my project until our next presidential election, but so be it.

I'm not sure what files to attach. They're in Github. Before I can go live with this, lovable/supabase say there are security issues which I don't understand. Rui is that something you can help with? I could give you collaborator access if that would be appropriate. Let me know via email - andakar@gmail.com.
Thank you all at MindValley!!! This course has been helpful beyond my dreams. There were of course many times that I thought, "Oh no, this is all way too complicated for me." But here I am with an app that I'm pretty pleased with, plus the ability to morph it as I get feedback and different features are needed. Special thanks to Vishen for bringing MindValley into the world. It's a force for good and we desperately need that now more than ever before in our lifetimes. Thank you all!!!
