They taught AI to friends, then used it to pick and brand a real business idea
A small study group ran three real business ideas through ChatGPT market research and SWOT analysis, chose one, and began building its brand.
This student did more than learn AI tools during AI Mastery. They started teaching what they learned to a small group of friends and family friends, and then the group put it to work on a business they actually want to launch. Their story shows how a program can turn into a shared, hands-on project with real decisions behind it.
AI-assisted business selection and branding
Before
When they started the AI Mastery program, the tools were new and the ideas were many. The group had three projects they genuinely wanted to pursue, but no clear way to decide between them. They had been learning, and now they wanted to put that learning into use.
“I started teaching what I was learning to a small group of friends and family friends as I was starting the AI Mastery program.”

The turning point
They brought all three ideas to ChatGPT and asked it to analyse each one separately, with market research, competitors, market trends and a SWOT analysis. Then they asked it to compare the three with pros and cons. From that side-by-side view, they reached a decision on which business to pursue.
“Then we asked it to compare the 3 with pros and cons, and finally, we reached the decision of which business idea to pursue.”

After
In the same conversation they worked out a name, a slogan and a brand identity, along with prompts for logo ideas. They tested a range of logo tools, split the work between them, and ran a second round mixing ideas and tools. While the logo is still being decided, they have started creating content and sketching ideas for a website.
What it lets people do
Their process gives a small group a clear path from several hopeful ideas to one chosen direction, backed by research rather than guesswork. It also maps which AI tools help with which parts of branding, so each step can use the right one.
What they learned
They found there is no single perfect tool. Generative tools are amazing in creativity but hard to edit and not vectorised, while non-generative tools are easy to edit but lack creativity, so the answer was to mix and match. They also learned to keep moving in parallel when one step takes longer than expected.
“For the logo creation we actually researched a bunch of tools and split them to try the difference, we came to the conclusion that there is no one perfect tool for logo creation.”
In their own words
AI-assisted business selection and branding was built during AI Mastery.
