A coach's goal-setting ritual now runs itself, from form to printed flyer
Clients write their goals, motivation and mantra in a form, and a custom-designed flyer arrives by email with no human step in between.
This student wanted to give clients something lasting: their own goals, beautifully laid out, ready to pin on a wall. They built an automation that does it end to end, learning automation logic, data mapping and how to work alongside AI along the way. It is a clear picture of how a program can turn a good idea into a working system.
Automated Client Goal-Setting Flyer System
Before
They wanted to add real value for clients at scale, without doing every piece by hand. The idea was simple: turn each client's goals, resources, challenges and focus phrase into a designed daily reminder. Making that happen automatically meant tools they had never connected before.
“Adding value to clients in a fully automated process to be used at scale, with no need of human intervention and delivered almost right away”

The turning point
Working through the course modules, with ChatGPT and the community for support, they outlined the workflow and built it step by step. Trial after trial, they swapped tools when they hit limits: Canva could not map to a template, so they rebuilt the design in Google Slides, and when PDF creation stalled in Google Drive they moved to PDF.co.
“I made multiple trials until it worked.”

After
Now an Airtable form feeds a Make.com scenario that fills a Google Slides template, converts it to a PDF, saves it back to the record and sends a personalised HTML email from Gmail. The client's name appears in the subject line and the body. Nobody has to touch it.
What it lets people do
Clients get a flyer of their own goals, motivation, actions and mantra to print or save as a daily reminder. For the person running it, every client receives something personal almost right away, and the process can grow without more manual work.
What they learned
They learned to build a process one step at a time and solve problems as they appear, which gave them a real grasp of automation logic and data mapping. They also learned to work with ChatGPT as a collaborator, correcting it at times and knowing where its limits are while still using its strengths.
“This experience taught me to recognize the limitations of LLMs while still leveraging their strengths for guidance and direction.”
In their own words
Automated Client Goal-Setting Flyer System was built during AI Mastery.
