Ollie vibe-coded a CV tool that frees up about 15 hours every week
Using vibe coding, Ollie built a CV tool that saves almost 1.5 hours per CV, about 15 hours a week across ten CVs.
Ollie took the vibe coding skills from the program and pointed them at a real, repetitive task: writing CVs. The result is a practical tool that gives back hours every week. It is a clear example of how a single build can change the shape of a working week.
CV writing tool
Before
Ollie's team was writing around ten CVs a week. Each one took real time, close to an hour and a half of work that added up fast. It was useful work, but slow and repetitive.
“This was a great way to use vibe coding and creating a super useful tool which has practical savings of almost 1.5 hours per CV.”

The turning point
In the program, Ollie found vibe coding and saw a chance to apply it to something practical. Rather than building for the sake of it, Ollie aimed at a task the team faced every week. Ollie documented the whole process, from the original CV to the finished output.
After
Ollie now has a working tool that turns an original CV into a finished one, saving almost 1.5 hours each time. Across a normal week, that comes to about 15 hours back. And Ollie sees it as a starting point, not the finish line.
What it lets people do
The tool lets a team move from a raw CV to a polished output far faster than by hand. The hours it saves can go into work that needs a person's attention.
What they learned
Ollie learned that the best projects solve a problem you already live with, and that building them can be genuinely fun. Ollie calls it only the beginning.
“I hope this fits as a practical example and I have had great fun making this and it is only the beginning.”

CV writing tool was built during AI Mastery.
