A financial educator turned a dry webinar into a live, interactive experience
A full webinar experience with two custom calculators, built with Lovable, that let attendees see their own numbers live.
This creator took one of the most intimidating topics there is, money and protection, and made it feel calm and human. Using AI tools they learned to wield, they built a landing page, slides and two live calculators that turn passive listeners into curious participants. It shows how product thinking can change the way any expert teaches.
Financial Clarity Webinar
Before
Financial planning is a topic most people find intimidating, and webinars about it often feel like a sales pitch in disguise. This educator wanted something different: an experience that sparked clarity rather than pushing products. Static slides and talking alone were not enough to hold attention or lower people's guard.
“When people see their own numbers, defensiveness drops and curiosity rises.”

The turning point
During the program they began building with AI tools, using Lovable to mock up a calm, vibe-coded landing page and to design two interactive calculators. They added Gamma for slides, Canva for visuals, a QR code made with Claude to move people from the presentation into the tools, and Airtable to manage contacts. The key idea was to interrupt passive listening mid-webinar and let people work with their own numbers.
“Framing calculators as thought starters, not recommendations, creates psychological safety.”

After
They launched an end-to-end Financial Clarity Webinar with an Income Protection Need calculator and a Retirement Need calculator used live during the session. They watched reactions and questions in real time and refined pacing, copy and framing as they went. The result is a repeatable webinar framework they can run again.
What it lets people do
Attendees can plug in their own situation and see where gaps in protection or retirement planning might be, without being told what to buy. The calculators work as thought starters that open honest discussion and personal reflection.
What they learned
They found that when people see their own numbers, defensiveness drops and curiosity rises. Tone and design build trust as much as accuracy does, and treating a webinar like a product, with flow, friction reduction and feedback loops, makes learning stick.
“Design and tone matter as much as accuracy in financial education—trust is built visually and emotionally first.”
In their own words
Financial Clarity Webinar was built during AI Mastery.
