AI Mastery

Rebuilt my entire workflow around 14+ AI platforms and transformed every domain of my life

Quick summary

A Master Mariner with zero coding experience transformed his entire life into a 14-platform AI ecosystem. From clearing a governance qualification and losing 13 kilograms to building a SaaS product and creating AI-generated songs for his children, he didn't just adopt AI—he made it his operating system.

There is a phrase we use at sea: "Walking the talk." It means if you give an order, you better be the first one to follow it. When I joined AI Mastery, I did not come in thinking I would tick a box and move on. I came in thinking: if AI is supposed to change everything, then let me actually change everything.

So I did.

I am a Master Mariner. My career was built on ships, in ports, and across commercial shipping offices. I had never written a line of code. I had never built an automation. I had never used AI beyond typing a question into Google. Six months ago, I had one AI tool in my life: ChatGPT, used occasionally. Today, I run my entire professional and personal life through 14+ AI platforms, each serving a specific purpose, each used daily or weekly, each with real evidence of sustained use.

This is not a story about experimenting with AI. This is a story about making AI the operating system of my life.

THE ECOSYSTEM: 14+ PLATFORMS, ONE INTEGRATED LIFE

Here is what my AI ecosystem looks like today, with evidence to back every single claim.

ChatGPT (Paid, Family Workspace)

This is my command centre. I have 6+ dedicated project spaces covering every venture I am involved in: Nautix AI, Circle (my SaaS startup), BrainTip AI, SafeDrycon, Nusuk Hajj, and Blue Visby HQ. Beyond projects, I have built 4 custom GPTs, each designed for a specific function:

"Emails for TEAMP" which is shared with my family workspace. This is my executive email writing assistant. I estimate it saves me 10 to 12 hours per week.

"Ali" which is a personal lifelong coach. This GPT covers spiritual guidance, fitness accountability, values alignment, and life direction. Named after a figure I deeply respect.

"BV Boss" which simulates the mindset and decision making style of my boss. When I need to pressure test a proposal before presenting it, I run it through this GPT first.

I spend 10 to 20 hours per week in direct interaction with ChatGPT across all these spaces.

Claude (Two Accounts: Personal and Work)

My work Claude account has 6 active project spaces: SOP standardisation for Blue Visby, an Email Assistant, Client Outreach templates, BV Overhaul proposals, daily task management, and a Prompt Library. On the personal side, Claude is where all my Circle brainstorming and product development happens. Everything from feature scoping to user flow design to strategic direction for the platform goes through my personal Claude account.

I have also gone deep into customising Claude to work the way I think and write. I have created custom skills for my work related tasks, a dedicated writing skill, and most recently, after going through Vishen's AI Accelerator programme, I built a Voice Skill that captures my actual communication style and writing patterns. So now Claude does not just help me write. It writes like me. The Voice Skill sits alongside my writing skill, and together they mean that anything Claude produces sounds like Captain Munaf Shaikh, not like an AI assistant.

Perplexity

My research engine. I maintain dedicated research spaces for Nautix AI and SafeDrycon. I use it for startup idea validation, vendor research, and MVP scoping. My threads go back to December 2025, showing sustained use over months.

Google Gemini Pro

This is my daily thinking partner. My chat history includes everything from brain dump organisation strategies to non-technical founder tech stack decisions to mission planning. I use the "thinking" model for complex reasoning.

Google NotebookLM Pro

This is where I go deep. I have 13 notebooks, and the numbers tell the story: my AI Mastery notebook alone has 108 sources. The Vibe Coding course notebook has 52 sources. My Director's Due Diligence notebook has 24 sources. I do not skim courses. I absorb them, organise them, and build reference libraries I can return to.

One real outcome worth mentioning: I cleared the GAICD, the Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors course, using AI and NotebookLM as my main research and study partner. This is a rigorous governance qualification, and AI played a genuine role in helping me prepare for it.

Google Flow / Veo

I have created 10+ AI generated videos for motivational content, personal branding, and creative expression. Projects date from December 2025 and January 2026.

Suno AI

This is perhaps the most personal use of AI in my ecosystem. I have created songs for my children: "Our Princess" and "Taha's Fort" (named after my eldest son). I also created "My Rise" as a personal motivational track. Making music for my kids using AI is something that brings genuine joy to our family.

Airtable

At Blue Visby, I built and deployed 8+ Airtable bases that now run the company's commercial operations across 6 countries. This is covered in detail in my Team Empowerment submission. Beyond work, I also use Airtable extensively for personal organisation and tracking across my ventures. It is part of my daily workflow in both professional and personal life, not a one-off project.

Gamma

All my presentations across every venture now go through Gamma. I introduced this tool to Blue Visby, and the team now uses Claude plus Gamma as their standard workflow for client facing decks.

Wispr Flow

My daily voice to text companion. This tool has reduced my typing by over 90 percent. Every email, every WhatsApp message, every document draft starts with my voice and Wispr Flow captures it. For someone managing multiple ventures across time zones, this is not a convenience. It is a necessity.

n8n

I have built automation workflows for banking communications (HDFC) and email management. I studied the automation curriculum through AI Mastery (Sara and Tyler's course, which has its own notebook in NotebookLM with 20 sources).

CapCut

Video editing for submission content and personal branding material.

Lovable, Replit, VS Code & Claude Code

My vibe coding tools. I used these to build the Circle MVP from scratch with zero coding experience, covered in my Vibe-Coding Builder submission.

A DAY IN MY LIFE WITH AI

Let me walk you through what a typical day looks like.

Morning: I start with Ali, my personal coaching GPT. We review fitness goals, fat loss progress, and daily priorities. Ali also serves as my values and spiritual accountability partner. Over the past five months, I have lost 13 kilograms through a combination of hard work, discipline, and AI supported planning. I am in the best shape of my adult life right now, both mentally and physically. The work was mine. The structure and accountability came from AI.

Work hours: I open my Claude work projects for Blue Visby tasks. I dictate everything through Wispr Flow. If I need to prepare a client deck, I draft content in Claude and generate the presentation in Gamma. Operations data flows through Airtable dashboards that I check on mobile while between meetings.

Venture time: I switch to my personal Claude account where all my Circle brainstorming and product development happens. For Nautix AI research, I move to ChatGPT and Perplexity. If I need to think through a complex strategic question, I open Gemini and do a brain dump.

Learning: If I am working through a course module, I have NotebookLM open with the relevant notebook. I add sources, generate study guides, and build reference material I can revisit.

Strategic decisions: Before a major proposal to my boss, I run it through BV Boss to anticipate objections and pressure test my thinking.

Communications: Every email I send goes through either my ChatGPT Email GPT or my Claude Email Assistant. Wispr Flow captures my voice input. The result is communication that sounds like me, delivered in half the time.

Evening: Even my evening walks have become AI sessions. I put my earphones in and have live voice chats with AI, brainstorming ideas, dumping thoughts, working through problems out loud, and getting structured thinking back. It has become a virtual thought partner that walks with me. Sometimes I open Suno and create something for my kids. Or I edit a video in CapCut. Or I review my NotebookLM notebooks to consolidate what I learned that day.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Most people who adopt AI add one or two tools to their existing workflow. I did something different. I rebuilt the workflow itself.

Every domain of my life now has an AI layer:

Professional operations: Claude, Airtable, Gamma, Wispr Flow

Venture building: Claude (Circle), ChatGPT, Perplexity, Lovable, Replit

Strategic thinking: Gemini, BV Boss GPT

Learning and development: NotebookLM (13 notebooks, 108 sources in the main one alone)

Professional qualifications: Cleared the GAICD using AI and NotebookLM as my study partner

Communications: Email GPT, Claude Email Assistant, Wispr Flow, custom Voice Skill

Content creation: Veo, Suno, CapCut, Gamma

Personal growth: Ali GPT (coach, spiritual guide, fitness accountability). Lost 13 kilograms in five months. In the best shape of my adult life, both mentally and physically.

Family: Suno songs for my children, family workspace in ChatGPT

Governance: AICD and Director's Due Diligence notebooks in NotebookLM

I did not adopt AI. I integrated it. There is a difference.

The reality is that I came into AI Mastery as a ship captain who had never heard of Airtable and had never built anything with code. Today, I run a 14+ platform AI ecosystem that spans my professional life, my ventures, my learning, my health, my faith, my family, and my creative life. I cleared a nationally recognised governance qualification with AI as my study partner. I lost 13 kilograms with AI supporting my fitness planning. I built a product from scratch with zero coding experience. I transformed a global team's operations. And I created songs for my children. That is not experimentation. That is walking the talk.

EVIDENCE

All claims above are supported by screenshots submitted alongside this entry within the presentation deck, showing active use across all 14+ platforms with visible chat histories, project spaces, notebook source counts, and creation dates.
