Built weather app protecting farmers and saving lives from floods
A Ghanaian innovator created a satellite-powered weather forecasting app that serves farmers, protects communities from floods, and has already supported major sporting and film events across West Africa.
Ghana Weather Intelligence
Local generated Ghana weather forecaster with daily reports, risks, and advisories.
This is an app that uses knowledge of satellite data to predict weather forecast mainly targetted at farmers in Ghana. It has been used the West African Pickleball tournment played late last year and for an international intercultural film shoot on the Aburi range Q3, 2025.
It can also be used to predict floods to save lives, protect property and outdoor event planning.
