A self-described perfectionist built a nonprofit fundraising site by trusting AI
A nonprofit fundraising site built with Lovable, ChatGPT and Zeffy, made fast by letting AI lead on branding and structure.
This student set out to build a nonprofit fundraising website in as little time as possible. To do it, they had to face their own perfectionism and let AI make the first calls on style, structure and message. Their story shows that sometimes the real skill is learning to let go.

Before
They needed a website that could raise money for a nonprofit, and they wanted to spend as little time on it as possible. The hardest part was not the technology. As a perfectionist, they found it difficult to hand over decisions about branding, framework and messaging.
“As a perfectionist, that was my biggest obstacle—but Lovable and ChatGPT took all of those obstacles out of the way for me.”

The turning point
In the program they practiced trusting AI to recommend the branding style, the site framework and the messaging. They focused on what only they could give: photos, logos and the mission. Instead of writing code, they described the experience and outcomes they wanted in plain language.
After
They built the site on Lovable, used ChatGPT to shape content, structure and clarity, and connected Zeffy so the nonprofit could take donations. They worked in quick rounds, refining the AI-generated build in real time until it fit. The obstacles that once held them back were cleared out of the way.
What it lets people do
The site gives the nonprofit a clear home for its mission, photos and story. With Zeffy built in, supporters can give directly through the site.
What they learned
They learned that perfectionism can be the biggest thing standing between an idea and a finished site. By trusting AI with the first draft and steering it with clear words, they could move fast and still shape the result.
