A guided AI coach that turns any goal into a LOFTY question
A Claude skill that walks people through writing a LOFTY question, then checks it against the criteria Vishen presented.
This student took one idea from the program, Vishen's LOFTY questions, and turned it into a tool anyone can use. Their Claude skill guides a person from a goal or a feeling to a finished question, then helps them test it. It shows how a single lesson can become something that helps other people grow.
Before
LOFTY questions were a framework Vishen presented in the program, something each person had to work through on their own. There was no simple guided path for turning a goal, a desire or an area of life into a question that met the L.O.F.T.Y criteria. This student wanted others to be able to do it for themselves.

The turning point
Learning the LOFTY framework gave them a clear structure to build on. They created a Claude skill that takes people through the process step by step. Once a question is written, the skill guides them to see if it meets the L.O.F.T.Y criteria.

They now have a working skill and a preview of a web page called the Lofty question guide. It opens by offering four ways in: a goal, a future-self vision, an emotional state, or an area of life to improve. They are building the web page so people can reach the skill through a link, and they plan to keep building and launch it.
What it lets people do
People can create their own LOFTY questions based on their goals or the areas they want to work on. The guide asks what a goal means to them and why it matters now, helping them shape new identities. It is framed as a guided self-reflection exercise, not a substitute for professional support.
What they learned
A framework becomes more powerful when it can guide others, not just the person who learned it. By turning Vishen's criteria into a step-by-step workflow, they found a way to help people create questions and new identities on their own terms.
