AI Mastery

Built a $150K go-to-market operation in 17 weeks for under $800

Quick summary

A two-person consciousness company used AI Mastery to build an executive bench of specialized AI roles, shipping a complete brand system, website, product demos, and go-to-market infrastructure in 17 weeks—work that would conventionally cost $100K+ and require multiple hires.

Good Mind Now has been in earnest development for a year. We knew the thesis. We had studied the market. What we did not have was the capacity to execute at the pace the strategy demanded, because there were two of us.

AI Mastery changed the constraint. In under 17 weeks we stood up the go-to-market skills we had been learning in Entrepreneurship Mastery, built an executive bench of AI roles that a company our size cannot afford to staff, and streamlined operations across the entire business.

The bench is the asset. Brand, product, research, content, and sales infrastructure stopped being sequential projects and became parallel capabilities. Every skill we add compounds against the next one.

No design hires. No engineering hires. Under $200 a month in AI tooling.

We are not an AI company. We are a human performance company that used AI to close the gap between what we knew to do and what two people can actually do.

THE VENTURE: Good Mind Now sells MindTreks: 15 to 20 minute Guided Audio Adventures that build leadership capability through immersive experience rather than instruction. The training target is ego-awareness, developed through presence and clarity, with downstream gains in creativity, strategic decision-making, and organizational alignment. Our thesis: change one person and you change a company. Change a company and you change the world.

Shipped between April 8 and August 4, 2026:

- Three MindTreks in production, including a public demo experience with pre-Trek intention setting, streaming audio, and a post-Trek integration survey

- Complete brand system (color, typography, logo usage, collateral rules) generated in Claude Design, then applied consistently across every surface

- Website rebuilt in Claude Code against that brand system

- Photorealistic imagery library produced without a photographer, talent, or licensing. Used ChatGPT Image 2

- Research-backed white papers establishing the efficacy foundation under the product

- ICP definition and pricing model developed with AI as strategic counterpart

- Target account identification, including AI-assisted analysis of existing LinkedIn relationships to build a demo and pilot tracking base

- One named pilot client identified following a focus group demo

- Testimonials collected and published

- A B2C application prototype mocked up in Claude Code, matching the same brand system (Good Mind Now is positioned B2B; this prototype tests a future consumer line)

- A weekly comic strip with a sustained publishing cadence on LinkedIn

WHAT AI MASTERY MADE POSSIBLE The conventional path to this state is a brand agency, a web developer, a photographer, a research writer, a composer, a strategy consultant, and an illustrator, sequenced across roughly nine to twelve months. Equivalent conventional scope for what we produced runs $100,000 to $150,000 at market rates. Our total AI tooling spend over the same period was under $800.

The number that matters more than the dollars: we had nobody to hire, and we shipped anyway.

Tools

-Claude Code. Website rebuild, demo page, MindTrek page generation, B2C prototype

-Claude Design. Brand system, guidelines, collateral direction |

-Claude Cowork. Execution layer for long-running and local work |

-Suno. Original scoring engineered to each MindTrek's peak emotional moment

-ChatGPT (GPT Image). Comic strip illustration with rendered dialogue |

We built an AI EXECUTIVE BENCH, not a prompt library.

Rather than treating AI as a faster way to write things, we staffed the roles a company that size cannot afford. Each is a custom Claude Skill with defined scope, voice, and operating procedure:

- Chief Mind Architect - writes the hypnotic MindTrek scripts and specifies musical cues

- Adventure Researcher - customizes each Trek's world and narrative terrain

- MindTrek Page Generator - produces a complete experience page per Trek

- Chief Strategy and Performance Officer - handles positioning and competitive work

- SVP of Operations - governs systems and process

- Project Manager -sequences and tracks execution

- Social Media Strategist runs the content pipeline

- Comic Author writes and art-directs the weekly strip

- Brand Skill enforces voice, color, and typography across every output

We architected the system as Memory, Brain, and Skill.

Memory holds who we are: founder profiles, company terminology, voice overrides, operating rules, all persistent at the account level. Brain holds what we know: frameworks, research, brand documentation, strategy files. Skill holds how we create: the executive bench above. Most AI failures we watched other founders hit were a missing leg. Generic output means no Skill. Ungrounded output means no Brain. Off-voice output means no Memory.

We extracted voice from our own corpus rather than describing it.

Instead of telling the AI what Good Mind Now sounds like, we pointed skill creation at our existing writing and had it identify the concrete patterns. The brand voice in every output traces back to sentences we actually wrote.

A FUN UNINTENDED OUTCOME

Our 11-year-old son now builds Roblox games in Claude Code.
