An AI pipeline that turns raw ideas into an animated series script, with a human

A workflow where Claude and ChatGPT carry an animated series from raw data to refined script, and nothing renders without human approval.

This creator built a working system that takes an animated series from raw material to a finished script by having two AI tools work together. What stands out is the care: a human approval gate sits before any tokens are spent on imagery or animation. It shows how someone in the program can design AI workflows that stay under their own control.

James Ramirez
A creator developing an animated series and designing agentic AI workflows to produce it.

Automated animated series development with AI orchestration and human approval gates

Before

Developing an animated series means turning a mass of raw ideas into structured, usable scripts. This creator had many hours of brainstorming sessions to draw from. The challenge was moving all of that into a refined script without losing control of the process or the cost of rendering.

“Many many hours of direct brain storming sessions feed the process.”

In their own words

The turning point

During the program, they designed an orchestration between Claude and ChatGPT to carry the work step by step. They mapped it out in detail, including database tables, raw files, structured output files and the final script. They also decided where a person must step in before anything costly happens.

After

They now have an agentic workflow that moves the series from raw data to a refined script. Rendering of imagery and animation waits behind a human approval gate. When a blocker needs immediate resolution, the system is set up to send them an SMS text.

What it lets people do

The workflow lets a creator turn long brainstorming sessions into structured outputs and a finished script with far less manual handling. Approval gates mean no tokens are spent on rendering until a person signs off. Alerts by text keep the creator in the loop only when they are truly needed.

What they learned

Automation works best when a human keeps the key decisions. Their design puts judgment at the points that matter, before money and effort go into rendering. And the raw creative work still counts: many many hours of brainstorming are what feed the whole process.

This project uses orchestration between Claude and ChatGPT tools to automate the development of an animated series from raw data to refined script and employs human gated approval before tokens can be spent on rendering imagery/animations via the agentic workflows. The PDF outlines all the particulars including the database tables, raw files and structured output files along with final script. the narrative indicates when to SMS text me when a blocker arises that requires immediate resolution. Many many hours of direct brain storming sessions feed the process.
