A ten-year dream of kids' travel books grew into a whole world of ideas

A decade-old idea for children's travel books became a plan for videos, wearables, decor, travel adventures and local meetups.

For ten years, this student carried one idea: travel books that help children feel curious, confident and open to people from other cultures. During their Mindvalley program, they finally sat down and mapped it out, and the idea grew far beyond books. It is a reminder that a long-held dream can still take shape, and often bigger than first imagined.

Kids' travel book series

Before

For a full decade, they held onto the idea of a series of travel books for kids. The goal was clear in their heart: to help children grow in curiosity, confidence and openness to people of different cultures. But the idea stayed an idea, waiting for the right moment to take form.

“For 10 years ive had the idea of this series of travel books for kids to help instill a sense of curiosity , confidence and openessxto people of different cultures.”

In their own words

The turning point

In the program, they used Claude, an AI assistant, to help sort out the different parts of the business. Laying out each aspect side by side gave the vision structure. Seeing it organised showed them how much more it could be.

After

Now the project is not just books. It has grown into a plan that includes videos, wearables, decor, travel adventures and local meetups. The ten-year idea finally has a shape they can build on.

What it lets people do

The project aims to give children many ways to meet the wider world, through stories, videos, things they wear and real trips. Local meetups add a chance to connect in person, turning curiosity about other cultures into lived experience.

What they learned

They learned that a dream held for years can move quickly once it is broken into clear parts. Organising the business opened their eyes to what the idea could become, well beyond the books they first pictured.

“Now its not just books, but videos, wearables, decor , travel adventures and local meet ups !”
