A short interview with a veteran became a full music video in seven hours
From a short Otter interview to a finished music video, built in about seven hours with a workflow they had already documented.
This creator sat down with their veteran son-in-law for a short interview and turned his story into a song, a storyboard and a finished music video. What makes it remarkable is not one lucky result but a workflow they wrote down and reused, finishing the whole pipeline in about seven hours. It shows how someone with a real story and a clear process can make brand media that feels true.
AI-Assisted Music Video: Vets Serving Vets
Before
Their son-in-law, a veteran and founder, had an authentic story and a mission, but he was hesitant about technology. Turning that story into something shareable for marketing and community meant writing, music, visuals and editing, a long chain of skills. The first video they made was a learning process, and the question was whether it could be done again.
“Turned a tech-hesitant founder’s authentic story into a mission-driven narrative (targeting ‘vets serving vets’) that can be used for marketing and community connection.”

The turning point
In the program they built and documented a workflow during their first video, step by step. For this one they reused it: interview, poem, lyrics, song, storyboard, visuals, final edit. They also found that starting from a real conversation changed everything about the result.
“Starting from real source truth (an interview) produces specificity and trust that generic prompting can’t replicate.”

After
They now run a full media pipeline across Otter, ChatGPT, Suno, Midjourney and Camtasia. They recorded the interview, shaped it into a poem that kept his voice, turned that into lyrics and a song, planned five-second scenes, generated and curated images, then synced and polished the edit and published it on YouTube. The whole thing took about seven hours.
What it lets people do
The video gives a veteran founder a mission-driven story, aimed at vets serving vets, that he can use for marketing and community connection. The documented workflow means other non-marketers and non-tech founders can produce quality brand media quickly from their own stories.
What they learned
Real source material beats generic prompting: an interview carries specifics and trust that a blank prompt cannot invent. And a process written down once becomes something you can repeat, which is what turns a one-off into a skill.
“A repeatable workflow empowers non-marketers/non-tech founders to ship high-quality brand media quickly.”
