A song written for a family wedding described the day before it happened
Using ChatGPT and Suno, they wrote a wedding song that ended up describing the day in Montana before it even took place.
Early in the course, right after one of Vishen's classes, this student set out to make a song for a family member's wedding. What came back felt almost uncanny: a song that captured the feeling of everyone who was there, written before the day arrived. It is a lovely reminder that a new way of thinking, plus a little perseverance, can turn into something deeply personal.

Before
A family member was getting married in Montana in early September 2025, and they wanted to celebrate it in a meaningful way. Making a song was new territory. They had only just started the course and were still learning how to think about prompts at all.

The turning point
After one of Vishen's classes, they took the way of thinking they had just learned and wrote a prompt in ChatGPT. They made very few edits before moving it into Suno. Then came the patient part: testing arrangements, voices and melodies until it reached the level they were looking for.
“I think it was the result of a good prompt (a way of thinking I had just learned) and perseverance to "tune it up" to the level I was looking for.”

They finished with a song, and two versions they loved most. At the wedding, the song turned out to describe what actually happened there, capturing the feeling of everyone present. They call it an early achievement and say they can't describe how happy they were to have done it.
