A daughter of a mom with Alzheimer's published a 181-page dementia workbook
A 181-page activity workbook for people with memory loss and their carers, with AI-made exercise images and 14 QR-code music playlists.
This creator came to the program with something personal: a mom with Alzheimer's. They turned that experience into a 181-page workbook built to create more happy moments and connection for seniors with memory loss and the people who support them. It shows how new AI skills can help someone carry a deeply personal idea all the way to a finished, published book.
The Happy & Helpful Workbook of Senior Activities for Dementia, Alzheimer's & Memory Loss
Before
They knew memory loss from the inside, through their own mom. They wanted to help seniors with mild to moderate memory loss, and the people caring for them, find more joy and engagement. But a full workbook with research, illustrated exercises, colouring pages and music was a lot for one person to make.
“Coming from having a mom with Alzheimer’s, this workbook, “The Happy & Helpful Workbook of Senior Activities for Dementia, Alzheimer’s & Memory Loss” to help those with mild to moderate memory loss and those who support them.”

The turning point
A session with Domenic introduced them to tools like Sora and PoseMyArt, which unlocked a whole section of illustrated senior exercises. They learned to prompt ChatGPT with their research, context and tone, then check every line so nothing false slipped in. They even connected ChatGPT to Spotify so playlists were built directly, leaving only their own final touches.
“I would have not been able to create this section with AI images without that session with Domenic that introduced these tools.”

After
They published a 181-page workbook, assembled in Canva, with activities, carer advice, colouring pages from Ideogram and Sora, and 14 Spotify playlists reached by QR code. They had it reviewed by a memory care professional and reshaped exercises from that input. Now they are using ChatGPT to explore how the book could grow into a broader effort to support seniors and carers.
What it lets people do
Seniors with mild to moderate memory loss get activities, gentle exercises, colouring pages and familiar music that can lift mood and spark memory. Carers get practical advice and ready-made ways to share happy moments and connection.
What they learned
They learned that AI works best as a co-creator, not a replacement: research it, cross-check it, and keep your own voice in the copy. Pairing the tools with real expertise, from their own experience to a memory care professional, is what made the book trustworthy.
“Familiar music can really help with mood and memory.”
In their own words
The Happy & Helpful Workbook of Senior Activities for Dementia, Alzheimer's & Memory Loss was built during AI Mastery.
