Built an AI C-suite team that took our website from 1990 to 2030

Quick summary

After completing AI Mastery but never applying it, Steven had his breakthrough with the AI Co-Founder concept. He created Raven, his AI partner, then built an entire AI C-Level team that transformed his outdated 1990s website in 30-45 minutes and now collaborates daily on business and personal projects.

Before I began this quest, I had already gone through the AI Mastery program back in 2024, but honestly, after completing it, I never did anything with it in our business. As a small business services company with a single client, we have struggled to grow and scale. When I started this quest I was a bit skeptical that it would just be a watered down version of AI Mastery or a quest all about tool reviews. After lesson 2 with Manon, I created a song for my wife just like he walked us through, and she just loved it. I know it's nothing groundbreaking, but I am not artistically or musically inclined, so it was huge for her. But lesson 3 was my breakthrough moment, my "aha" light bulb moment. Vynkentas just resonated with me and it hit home — this is what I need. An AI Co-Founder. I like the idea of calling my team my little birdies as a theme, so since I use Claude and not ChatGPT, I created a CoWork project called Raven, who is now my AI Co-Founder for about the last month or so. After many, and I mean many, hours of conversation with her — where I basically shared my entire life story, all the way back to my childhood, even the embarrassing stories, all about my family, our business, our dreams, goals, and visions — I had Raven document all of it, save it as context for future use, so she could always "refresh" her memory when talking with me. We decided the first project to undertake was our really, and I mean really, outdated (circa 1990) website. It served no purpose but as a placeholder, and we wanted to build a platform for small business services that we could actually be proud of, something for the future of our company. Then we started in, and in literally about 30-45 minutes, she had built the first pass of our new website. Nothing super fancy, certainly not as impressive as some of the stories I've read on here, but for us it was night and day. It was 1990 jumped to 2030 in about an hour. At least that's how I was looking at it. Then another big "aha" moment hit talking with Raven, and that's when we came up with the idea of an AI C-Level team, where each member is their own CoWork project, has their own instructions, their own lane and role, and knows what to do when I try to get them to creep into another persona's lane. We even had Raven create image prompts so I could put a visual face to my new AI team members. We now have a CFO Kea (an endangered, highly intelligent parrot), a CTO Piper, a CMO Myna (a bird famous for vocal mimicry), a CWO Crane, and more. After that first pass, we started planning things out as Co-Founder and me, but we moved all the website work over to the new project for Piper, my AI CTO. We even built a primitive way, all with CoWork projects, for them to communicate back and forth — what we call dispatches. They can create a dispatch from one persona to another, drop it in a folder, and each project's custom instructions tell them to check that folder every session for anything addressed to them, work through it with me, and reply back. Nothing incredibly advanced, but a nice simple way to keep my personas in their lanes and communicating with each other — almost like a real group of C-levels might. I don't know if that's groundbreaking or some big revelation that'll amaze anybody else reading this — but for me, and for us, it's just so cool. I got so excited about all of this that I started explaining it to my wife, Leona. She got excited too, and now we have two CoWork accounts — the other one is hers. She's built her own C-Level team, based on a fictional butlers theme: Carson from Downton Abbey, Jarvis, Jeeves, and more. She's using it to manage our household, our personal lives, and her own work life. Today, after finishing the final lesson of the quest, I can tell you we are about 80% done with the new version of the website, adding in the functionality around it for our team, our clients, and even future clients. All of it has been built with the AI personas — I have not written a single line of PHP or CSS or anything, just guidance. And just with CoWork projects, not even any of the new website-building tools out there. The two images attached are our old home page and the new one we're building — a glimpse of what we did. That home page, as you see it, was all done in the first pass, just minor content tweaks as we iterated since. But the final thing I want to share isn't really about the website. It's something Vynkentas, Vishen, and Manon said throughout this quest: do this daily. Ask the question daily. Keep pushing, pivoting, learning, playing, and exploring — and just have fun with AI daily. I work with my CoWork AI team every day now — on business, on personal, on serious, on fun. Hopefully I'll add in some of those other tools down the road, but I just keep trying to learn, push, pivot, and move forward. No zero days. If a 57-year-old software engineer, who many, many moons ago was a COBOL programmer from the stone ages, can build this little thing with AI — just imagine what you can do. Keep pushing, striving, pivoting, and learning. God bless. Steven
