“I trust myself to know when I know”
After years of pushing herself to work harder and be better, she committed to seven days of deep listening instead of forcing solutions. Through the 7 Sacred States Challenge, she rediscovered faith, released attachment to outcomes, and uncovered a truth she'd been avoiding: her struggle with receiving and worthiness.
Before this week, I believed I just needed to work more, be better, and deal with whatever curveballs life threw at me. Instead, I chose something different. I showed up consistently for seven days and committed to listening—not fixing, not forcing—so I could gain clarity and guidance. I had previously been part of Mindvalley and explored other workshops and programs over the years, but this week—sitting in the 7 Sacred States Challenge—landed differently. I’ve found myself sharing pieces of it with friends because the insights felt embodied, not theoretical. Day 1: Knowing I began meditating on who I am and how I show up—for myself and for others—with integrity, commitment, and self-love. That morning, a mantra arose naturally: “I trust myself to know when I know.” That simple truth brought me deep peace—and allowed me to sit with discomfort instead of trying to force a solution. Day 2: Faith It became incredibly clear that the prayer I’ve been carrying throughout 2025—born from my vision quest—has always been about faith. I had been asking Spirit: “Please help me believe that everything happening to me is happening for me.” What I realized is that this was never about circumstances—it was about deepening my faith. The clarity didn’t arrive until the end of the year, and that timing felt perfect. Day 3: Love This day was especially powerful. I completed the exercise and sent someone I love deeply—someone I’ve lacked clarity with—a list of what I love about him. It took courage. And it allowed love to move freely—not just between us, but outward into the space around us. Day 4: Stillness A reminder of the wisdom that comes from sitting and listening. For me, it felt like the integration point of everything before it—and the doorway into what followed. Day 5: Non-Attachment This one landed deeply. Showing up as if it’s already been given. Letting go of outcomes while still holding dreams, desires, and goals—loosely. It took me many years to learn how to do that. I needed that reminder now more than ever. Day 6: Devotion I saw clearly that I am a deeply devoted woman—rooted in service, healing, and contribution. Day 7 This one told the truth I needed to hear: Receiving has always been difficult for me. There is still a part of me that believes I need to be something else in order to be worthy. That’s where my work is. After this week, I recommitted to an annual membership with Mindvalley. I’m deeply grateful for the collective energy of thousands of people who showed up for their growth—and to Vishen Lakhiani and his entire team for choosing to create space for reflection, awareness, and awakening during this holiday season. Grateful. Grounded. Listening more deeply. 💛
