My name is Cathy and I’m the owner of an online yoga school, Cathy Madeo Yoga. While I’ve been teaching yoga for 20 years, I have not had the success that I now have with an online business until recently and it was born out of one of the hardest times of my life

Like many people, when the pandemic hit I was at an all time low. I was newly separated, I had no job or income and I was a new single mom needing to not only support my 2 kids but also needed to stay home with them while schools were closed. I immediately moved into a tiny 2 bedroom apartment to save money and I shared a small bedroom with my then 6 year old daughter for 2 years.

With 0 dollars and one idea I started an online business. Within 6 months I was able to turn that 0 dollars to a 6-figure business and now I have customers in over 40 countries all over the world.

Do you know what I did with the first round of income I made? I invested it right back into the business by investing in myself. I took a course on Mindvalley called Be Extraordinary with Vishen Lakhiani. Taking this course at such a pivotal time helped me pull out the most extraordinary pieces of myself and empowered me to build the business I now own and foster a growing community of yoga teachers and students worldwide.
