"Following the Mindvalley quests, I learned about mediation, gratitude, journaling, time blocking and great habits"
After business fraud and his father's death plunged him into depression, Georges discovered Mindvalley and learned practices like meditation, gratitude, and journaling that helped him shift from victim mentality to recognizing his strengths and rebuilding his confidence.
I had a successful business and one day my trusted accountant did a major fraud that caused our business legal issues and we had to close with a large debt that I am still dealing with. When this happened, I really was helpless and I didn’t go to anyone for help. I did hire a lawyer of course but legal procedures take forever and the stress level stays high. A few months later my father passed away, and I plunge deeper into the victim stage. I was trying to find a way out of depression, so I started to read books about happiness, psychology and self improvement. I started to look for podcasts and videos and I discovered Mindvalley. Mindvalley really helped me understand more about my suffering and it helped me shift my state of mind to a more positive and optimistic one. This is how I started to move to level two. I had a lot of qualities and a lot of things to be grateful for, and I was blinded by my victim stage. I have 2 other businesses that are doing well, I am a role model for a lot of young entrepreneurs in my country, I am very respected in the banking system, I have access to credit and suppliers among other things. I was so torn down that I couldn’t see any of these. I lost confidence in myself and my capacity. Following the Mindvalley quests, I learned about mediation, gratitude, journaling, time blocking and great habits that helped me move higher into level 2.
