I found myself fascinated by the idea that I could change how I felt
About 2 months after my divorce was final I was driving home from work. Very emotional, angry and upset with how unfair life was. I had a webinar on my car radio, mainly for the background noise as I was not really listening to it. However, as I took another breath getting ready to list the unfair things happening in my life the webinar started talking about gratitude and how it can help us rid ourselves of bitterness. They explained the simple, yet powerful practice of gratitude and It was like a lightbulb went off in my head. I KNEW I didn't want to become bitter. Not for me, not for my kids. So I listened to the rest of the webinar and found myself fascinated by the idea that I could change how I felt. A radical new idea and it felt right. Its been a journey since then and one of the best parts is that it has led me to Mindvalley!
