Learning to let go of control and parent with compassion
Kat is learning to let go of control and stop tying her self-worth to her daughter's behavior. Through powerful tools like the pause and staying present, she's discovering a more compassionate way to co-create their relationship together.
I am much more clear about my intentions and how do i want to co-live and co-create with my daughter. I am learning to apply amazing tools such as the pause, feeling my feelings and staying in the present moment. I am also learning to let go of control and expectations and the idea that I should feel my worth based on how my kid is expressing herself at any given moment. I am so grateful for this quest and Shefali Tsabary with her humour- it makes me get a more realistic perspective and not take everything so seriously. I am well aware this will all take time to sink in and develop so I will continue this quest and this path and will try my best to have compassion- for myself, for my daughter and for everyone else ❤️
