"The Duality classes will continue the vitally important work"
After intense foot pain led Jen to energy healing and early retirement, they discovered shamanic journeying. Now the Duality classes continue their healing work, preparing them for deeper shamanic training once in-person workshops resume.
It began in the spring of 2019, the day I bought two boxes of Pukka herbal tea, Detox and Cleanse, at Star Grocery on Claremont Avenue in Berkeley, CA. I was feeling a need for a refresh and reset. A few months later, desperate SOS signals were coming from my feet. They were miserable with pain so intense that walking was unbearable. Luckily, through the Berkeley Zen Center, I found Baika Pratt, an energy healer from Lafayette. Baika cleared old clutter from my root chakra. This was in mid-July. By September, I had retired from my job. My feet were feeling better. I was out of immediate danger. As a retiree, I have had free time to practice shamanic journeying. I've been asking the compassionate helping spirits to heal all of the health issues in my body. Interestingly, their starting place has been my bones! I'm a beginner at shamanic journeying and would like to take workshops through shamanism.org. Due to the pandemic, their workshops are being conducted via ZOOM. It feels like this training would be more effective when done in the normal way with the teacher and students gathered in a circle in a room, drums and rattles at hand. So, once California's shelter-in-place orders are lifted, I'll sign up for shamanism.org's in-person workshops. In the meantime, the Duality classes will continue the vitally important work started last year by the Pukka Cleanse and Detox herbal teas, plus prepare me for the upcoming shamanic journeying workshops.
