"I got a higher-paying job as a deputy Chief Data Officer and I led a team of 30 data scientists and technical experts"
I'm Marcia Drake and I'm from Olympia, Washington, USA in the Seattle area. And I've been a member of Lifebook since 2019. Where the story really gets interesting is about 2012 when I went through a divorce, painful divorce of my 14 year marriage that I had been in. And that's kind of, I think, the thing that launched me into a realization that things have to change for me. And it was a reclaiming of myself. And then in 2019, when Lifebook came around, that started everything for me. And I will just say that what I learned in Lifebook took my life to a whole new level. It accelerated things on a level that I'd never seen before. The pace of life which I was used to living before, the pace of change, suddenly just speed up. So since 2019 I won a 150, 000 lawsuit that was related to my lung injury, allowing me to pay off my car. I worked on healing my emotional wounds. I was doing things like: I learned how to dance tango, and bachata, and salsa, and ballet. I read over a hundred books using Jim Kwik's quest, and I learned five different languages during that time. I expanded my social network globally, to include some amazing entrepreneurs, data experts, and musicians. I got a higher-paying job as a deputy Chief Data Officer and I led a team of 30 data scientists and technical experts, and I worked for the U. S. Department of Justice as a grant peer reviewer and additionally launched my own side business. And just most recently in May, I left my state job of 24 years to become an entrepreneur and coach. Additionally, I would say Lifebookexpanded my creativity. It helped me to integrate a lot of great habits. One of those was launching into a creative hour once a week, where I started to create art. And hadn't done that in years. I actually put that gift on a shelf and saved it for later. And in March of this last year, I had my first art show in Denver. Lifebook really is the framework to be able to put everything in.
