"I will be taking my Lifebook principles with me, to perhaps empower others"

Thanks to Lifebook I have a clearer picture of the direction I want my life to go. Since retiring 2 years ago I've been living the dream, travelling, spending more time with my friends, my 95-year-old mom, my 2 grandkids and my children. It's been amazing and fun, but I want to give back and feel there is more to life. Since taking this course, one thing I didn't expect was to dive into my love relationship, which was by far my lowest score, I just figured it is what it is and we each do our own thing. I really didn't want to tackle it and it hit me right between the eyes. I had to confront myself and my part in this relationship and was I willing to live like this the rest of my life. After completing my premise, my vision, my purpose, and my strategy, I went to work on implementing my strategy. I wrote to my husband of 40 years the wonderful things I loved about him, as well as my vision for us and a sincere apology for my part in our deteriorating relationship. I wish I could say all was kisses and roses, but like anything in life, some things just take time. I decided that living as roommates is no longer acceptable and am willing to make whatever changes need to take place to lead the extraordinary life I deserve. In my career category as I looked at what I could do to give back, my vision became much clearer. I've already started implementing my strategy, a mission trip. I've met with a friend who wants to do this with me so the ball is rolling. Believe me I will be taking my Lifebook principles with me, to perhaps empower others. I can't thank Missy and Jon enough for their vision and passion and sharing this wonderful tool called Lifebook with the community.
