"If there is one thing I have learned from this experience, it is that dreams can come true - dream often, and dream BIG!"
I have had a really deep sense of unhappiness in my life for as far back as I can remember. There are so many areas of my life that I am dissatisfied with and I've been feeling trapped and stuck in my current lifestyle for so long I forgot what happiness is. As I have been going through Lifebook I can see that I have had no positive role models in my life, and I have been fed a big lie from the day that I was born - sometimes this has been said to me, and often it has been demonstrated to me by people who have no understanding of how to better them selves and have settled for mediocrity or worse. I was told all my life that "dreams don't matter, dreams are just fantasy that will never come true and they are a waste of time". I was told that what matters is making ends meet by working all hours in any job that pays well, and struggling to get by every month is what everyone does. I was not shown how to create wealth or how money works or that you can create abundance doing what you love. The financial and quality of life chapters have had such a profound affect on me, it's incredible. After watching the very first masterclass with Jon, I called up the garage and asked for the car I really liked - there were none available for 7 months in the high spec I wanted due to Covid - and as I called, suddenly one became available out of the blue that very minute. I have been driving and loving it ever since. I have started changing my living space into an environment more like my ideal home - it is ongoing but there is such a big shift - I am throwing out all the things that give me negativity, and I am saving at least 10% of my salary for the first time ever, even after my new purchases, I can somehow do it! Most important of all - I've been so depressed with teaching for 8 years, it is not what I was born to do. I had an exhibition of my work in school aged 11, and was told that I had a unique and special talent. In my 30s the university told me the same thing as I did my art degree. I've not been visiting galleries or making art for too long - I have decided to apply to a gallery to show my work before I go back to school in 2 weeks, and I have asked about part-time study to do curation in a gallery - which may send me onto a new and more meaningful career path. I'm also determined to start painting again. If there is one thing I have learned from this experience, it is that dreams can come true - dream often, and dream BIG!
