It is thanks to Lifebook and Jon and Missy’s generosity that I am able to think about categories in my life that I have never done before. I have been a mom since I was very young. When my boy was 1,5 we decided to go to Paris with the dad so he could pursue his studies and we learned French. I decided then to pursue my studies, too but the dad left us and returned to Colombia. Since then I thought that I will never want to tell my story as a dramatic one. I consider myself a warrior and I will get the best of the situation. We stayed for 5 more years until I finished my studies. I worked, studied and my boy went to school. My life has been amazing and hard and fun and courageous and hard but it hasn’t been a dramatic one, I am not a victim. I am telling my story because when you are a single mom that young, you don’t have the privilege to think about a lot of things because life keeps you busy and you have to go on. Now I can, it hasn’t been easy, I cried a lot in this process but it has been amazing to discover myself and start to live all aspects of myself from my soul and my core beliefs. I could not thank you enough for this journey.
