Gained confidence and practical tools to launch Never Too Late Coaching

Quick summary

Already pursuing formal coaching credentials, this experienced leader sought deeper tools for human transformation. The programme equipped his with practical frameworks and renewed confidence, strengthening his coaching practice and reinforcing her belief that it's never too late to begin again.

Before the programme, I was already studying towards an ILM Level 5 qualification in Coaching and Mentoring, but I wanted a second coaching programme that focused more specifically on life coaching, personal transformation and the wider human side of change.

I had spent many years in leadership, health and safety and facilities roles, and I had become increasingly interested in the people behind the systems. I wanted to become a better coach, develop a broader range of tools and approaches, and gain more confidence in supporting people through career change, uncertainty, confidence issues and major life transitions.

Thanks to the Certified Life Coach programme, I have been able to deepen my understanding of coaching and apply that learning with real clients. The programme introduced me to practical tools such as the Wheel of Life, ^-Phase Mediation, personality and self-awareness assessments, GROW and strengths-based coaching. More importantly, it reinforced that good coaching is not about giving people the answers, but about creating the right space, listening carefully, asking better questions and helping clients find their own way forward.

Now, my life has not suddenly changed overnight, but my opportunities have. I feel better equipped, more confident and more intentional about the coach I want to become. I am continuing to build Never Too Late Coaching and develop my work around leadership, transition, reinvention and helping people create their next chapter.

For me, this programme has not been about becoming a completely different person. It has been about becoming a better coach, strengthening the way I support others and opening up new possibilities for the future.

It has reinforced something I strongly believe: it is never too late to learn, change direction or begin again.
