Launched my life coaching business after years of contemplation

For almost all of my adult professional life, I have devoted myself to my practice as an educator–teaching students from early childhood through late adulthood, students from diverse cultures and backgrounds who brought unique challenges and needs to the classroom. My joy has always been to take the practices of reading, writing and speaking to them as sources of joy, personal expression and power to influence and enact change in the world. As I grew as an educator and as a human being over my adult life, I found my desire to lead grow. I have long known that I have a voice and a message to share with the world, and with each passing year, this knowledge pressed itself more deeply upon me. I have grown to a point of wanting to bring my gifts as a transformational leader and educator to the forefront. For several years, I have contemplated building my own business as a professional life coach. As my personal life continued to take more dramatic turns, I came to realize that there was no more time to wait to take action on behalf of my dreams. The time to act was upon me, and despite all the fear and self-doubt, I stood up and I said a resounding YES. As I began to listen to Mindvalley Quests such as The Art of Manifesting, Be Extraordinary and Quantum Love, the ingredients of my soul found new combinations and places that had been stagnant began to wake up. Slowly, I began to form the wings of a new identity, someone who believed she deserved life’s blessings, beginning with pure and unconditional love. As I researched many different programs for life coach certification, I learned that Mindvalley had its own program, founded by Vishen Lakhiani and Ajit Nawalka. As I considered all that after all MindValley programs had done for me during my own dark night of the soul, I knew the Mindvalley Life Coaching Program was definitely the one for me. As I went through the Mindvalley curriculum, I knew that I had made the right decision. The curriculum was rich and layered, grounded in both science and spirit, appealing to both my brain and my heart. Carefully watching the Q and A’s and Coaching Labs with Ajit, Fran and Aarti really made me feel supported by a team who knew from long experience–as humans and as coaches–how to provide us with the guidance and tips we needed. They guided us fledgling coaches with more than just practical systems and tips, however–they fueled us with inspiration and love! When the time was right to begin working with my first practice coachees, I felt well-prepared to show up with full presence and to let the tools and mindsets I had learned guide me as I coached. What a joy! I know that I have discovered a truly amazing new career as a life coach, and the Mindvalley Life Coaching program has given me the strong foundation I needed to have confidence as go into the world, a shining and eager new coach. I have even started my new business, Kismet Coaching, and am so excited to see how my business grows as it serves others in achieving the life of their dreams.

Thanks to the Mindvalley Life Coach instructors and curriculum, this is a career adventure I know I am perfectly prepared for. I am also excited to know that I am now part of the MindValley Coaching Community. We as Mindvalley coaches will continue to build connections as we grow together, committed to living lives of service, beauty, love and transformation. I celebrate this moment, and I congratulate all my fellow graduates for achieving such an amazing milestone–an accomplishment that will forever be a part of who we are in the world–as individuals and as a beautiful network of likeminded souls, working our magic around the world.
