Turned decades of trauma into a career helping others heal
After surviving an abusive childhood with narcissistic parents, Lucy transformed decades of pain into purpose. Through studying trauma and becoming a Life Coach, she found unexpected personal growth and now helps others navigate similar darkness with profound understanding and compassion.
I grew up with narcissistic parents, and my father was extremely abusive — physically and emotionally. There were moments when my life was in danger, and the impact of those experiences has stayed with me. My mother, unfortunately, sided with him, as she was deeply manipulated and controlled. From a young age, I knew I had to give all of this pain some kind of purpose; otherwise, everything I endured would feel wasted. I spent decades studying narcissistic behavior and its impact, trying to understand what happened to me and how to break free from its patterns. I earned a certificate in Complex Trauma, and becoming a Life Coach felt like a natural continuation — or perhaps a new beginning. This journey didn’t just prepare me professionally; it gave me profound personal growth and knowledge I didn’t expect. I am genuinely grateful for this path. I feel ready to step forward and help others who are still wandering in the dark, just as I once was. And the greatest gift of all has been the connections I made along the way — beautiful people who chose to stay in touch and support one another even after the course. Thank you !!!
