"I have potential to change lives through my lived experiences"
Sakhile transformed from someone who tried to take up as little space as possible into a confident life coach. Through the program, they released shame, strengthened their boundaries, and discovered their potential to change lives through their unique experiences and creative perspective.
Before this program, I had my mind set to be a hypnotherapist. I wanted to marry my background in the creative world, with my love of the human condition, without going into school for another 4-6 years to get a degree. It was on the Mindvalley enrolment call that I learned I would be better suited to become a Life Coach. Now, listen, I was a guy that did as much as he could to take up as little space as possible. I loved to help folks, but being the centre of any kind of attention is not something that gave me warm fuzzies. At 198cm (6'6") it was a hard feat. Trusting myself and the decisions I make was something I struggled with, and through this course my confidence in what I like and want to do has grown firmer. Along with the boundaries I learned that the shame I felt around a lot of things in my life were projections from elsewhere that I had to let go of, and I'm eternally grateful for the coaching practice sessions outside of coaching labs with people in my cohort, where we used the techniques we'd learned and built on to deconstruct conditioning. I'm now stepping into a different chapter with a fresh outlook, acknowledging there's work to do, but at least with the understanding that I am not flawed as a person, and have potential to change lives through my lived experiences, and creative outlooks.
