"I've never felt more empowered to let my light shine and truly help others"
After 27 years as a psychotherapist, Kathryn discovered that coaching skills transformed her practice. Now at 64, she combines her expertise in trauma with new empowerment techniques, feeling more equipped than ever to serve others with hope and light.
I'm 64 and loving life. I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist in 1985. I practiced psychotherapy for 27 years and retired in 2009. My personal life has been a journey of healing very primitive childhood abuse. I've had many transformational healing experiences in therapists' offices and in jungles. I'm actually grateful for the abuse because of the rabbit holes it put me down and the wisdom that has emerged and is emerging as a result. I feel that this Coaching course compliments my toolkit very well. My expertise in primitive developmental trauma is still useful and my new skills in Coaching for self-empowerment, for achieving goals and successes, for identifying and helping dissolve blocks, untrue stories and blind spots in the present for a better future make me of better service to my clients/coachees. I see hopelessness and despair in humanity, but I don't feel it. I've never felt more empowered to let my light shine and truly help others. Thank you Mindvalley.
