"The biggest growth for me was learning to hold space for clients without judgment"
My transformation in the last 3 years has been pretty substantial and courageous. I call it my midlife awakening. I went from corporate attorney to yoga teacher, laughter yoga leader, and Lifebook Leader. Then I got back into law as a consultant and professor teaching a collaborative approach to negotiation and dispute resolution based on the Conscious Contracts® process, which integrates a holistic approach to layering focused on the clients' relationships. I started my own company, Just Brilliant LLC, focused on attorney well-being helping others create a more expansive foundation for their lives. I also co-founded the NJ/NY Chapter of Mindfulness in Law Society to help other legal professionals reduce stress, increase resilience, and improve decision-making through contemplative practices.
Before this program, I completed many quests and had a lot of useful information dancing in my head, but this program helped to organize it in a meaningful way and teach me necessary skills to better serve my clients. The biggest growth for me was learning to hold space for clients without judgment - to be a mirror. I now feel more equipped to help others live their lives more consciously and counsel more compassionately. I am so glad I decided to invest in myself!
